working in other countries???
if you're an american citizen are you allowed to strip in canada without a work visa?
what about europe? I have a friend who moved to england last year and she really wants me to go visit her so I was thinking maybe I could work at some of the clubs there to supplement my income so I could stay longer
one of the girls at my club went on a vacation to mexico and she danced there but she said the clubs aren't terribly strict
Re: working in other countries???
It depends where you are in canada, you really *should* have a visa, but I think you could quite possibly get around working without one, the first 2 clubs I worked at didn't even check my id, and the third one only took a photocopy of 2 pieces of photo id, which is what most clubs do I think. I said in another thread that if you are really desperate, get 2 pieces of decent fake id and try it that way. We already fleshed out that its just virtually impossible to dance between the us and canada legally. England might be different, but I don't have any info on that for you really, sorry! The only thing I can suggest you looking up is the youth mobility visa, but i don't know if ammericans are elligible for it :(
Re: working in other countries???
most of the clubs I've worked at in america never even asked to see my ID. seriously. I'm thinking it might be easy to get away with in canada since our accents are virtually identical, just not in england lol. maybe the clubs won't care?

Don't even try it in England, no one will even risk letting you work i've said it before, UKBA hand out £10,000 fines to employers with illegal workers, there has been a massive increase in searches.
