Transitioning from Webcam to Stripping? Wierd facial features bad for stripping?
Hi everybody! I am a 20 year old college student who is supporting her education/rent through webcam modeling but I would like to transtion to stripping if I can make more money : ) I started becuase I didn't want to live with my aunt and commute 50 min/day to school, and my grades were falling becuase my aunt is very mentally instable and would yell at me, etc so got my own apartment and started webcamming to pay for it. So far it's been a blast, but I keep thinking stripping might be better for me (healthwise and financial-wise?)
thnks in reading this post!!!

I'm just going to add on to BOTM's responses because she basically explained it all.
1. Lots of customers are into younger looking girls, so this will likely work in your favour. You may get a little creeped out by some of them, but that sort of goes with the territory.
2. It's impossible to tell you how much you'll make. It varies so much based on girl, city, club, clientele, day, shift, every other possible factor under the sun. One shift, you may walk out with hundreds of dollars, and the other, owing the club (the fact that you ask how much you would 'get paid' as stripper leads me to believe you don't know that most strippers actually pay a fee to work, and then make money off dance/VIP sales - some clubs still take a cut of those earnings). It can be very hit and miss, and when you're just starting out, there's a steep learning curve in hustling. I had a great first shift and took advantage of being the 'new girl', but other girls don't start out well for various reasons. Stripping money can be very unpredictable.
3. I work around 5 hours (minimum shift at my club) and that's good for me. How much you work depends on you and the club - some have scheduling requirements, and some give you more free reign. At my club, I set my own schedule, so I work as much or as little as I want.
4. Proper shoes would be your best investment and I can't recommend them enough. You'll find that the platforms are surprisingly comfortable, though it may take you some time to get used to walking and moving in them. Otherwise, you really don't need to spend much. Personally, I only really wear mascara (and even that, not always) and had a lot of apparel in my closet that could be used as stripperwear. I do buy some things, but don't spend much at all. Girls wear so many different types of outfits that you spend as much or as little as you want. You'll quickly learn that there's no 'right' way to be a stripper, and it's a matter of experimenting and finding what works best for you.
5. Tip your security well so they take care of you, but dancing in a big city would likely help you stay safe as there'd always be people around when you're leaving the club. If you're really worried, work earlier shifts so you're not heading home at 2am.
6. Some customers do smell of cigarettes, but I haven't noticed anything severe, even if they've just come back in from a smoke. And as BOTM said, you have the right to refuse to dance for anyone if they approach you and it's really that bad.
9. As I said with outfits and scheduling, it depends on you. You can spend hours on your make up and getting dressed if you want to - some girls spend half their shifts in the dressing room. The faster you are though, the more time you can spend on the floor making money.
Good luck!

It looks like you're overthinking this quite a lot… but I guess most of us did when we started stripping. You shouldn't worry about your body size and your head shape -- if your'e hot, you're hot. If you're making money on webcam, I'm SURE you'll be fine. : )
You won't necessarily earn more stripping, but there's no way to know how much you could be making until you try it. I make about $40-60 an hour after tip-out, and my club has 5 hour shifts.
You can buy dancing costumes at any price range, really. A new pair of quality stripper shoes costs about $40, but you can find cheaper ones on ebay. You can also probably wear the outfits you use for webcam. Start off with a cute but inexpensive bra/panties and later you can invest more in costumes.
