Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
This is a question for both blues and pinks..
How often do you refer fellow dancers or blues how often do you tell other dancers about StripperWeb?
I often mention StripperWeb when I am chatting away with a dancer and she is mentioning how she is making no money (but the club is PACKED WITH GUYS, A friday Night from 7 to midnight and she's chatting with me for over an hour or two (and this has happened many times) I always get the feeling they think I'm a snob who acts like I know more about stripping than they do, LOL. But they cannot stop complaining to me about how they cannot make money or they don't know how to handle so-and-so customer, Why are they so reluctant to my mentions of visiting this site for help and moral support?
LOL? Maybe I should stop mentioning this website to them :D
Does anyone (dancer or blue) refer other dancers (or even customers?) to this site? :O
(also just to add, I've found out just because you are a regular during the daytime shift during the weekday and spend thousands of dollars, It doesn't mean shit when you visit the night shift on the weekend, even if you Tip every person there, don't expect the same treatment when you switch shifts.. kind of sucks.. I feel like That's where I am home LOL but no one notices me until i spend hundreds++, It's a different monster on different shifts, seems like no one talks about big tippers to other employers (im still learning!) (learned that one the hard way.. LOL :( )
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
Also just a rant what about DJ's who don't know how to help out generous customers?? LOL. I've been there once for 6+ hours and have seen no one approach the DJ and I'll slip the guy a 20 hoping he will call up the dancer I want to the booth so I can take her to the back but sometimes It's a NO GO. Fuck the weekend night shifts.. LOL. Daytime shift employees and dancers seem to remember and respect big tipping customers more, even when the nighttime employees get no tips but receive some from me.. I'm so confused :O \
I'm the only one tipping everyone in there (dancer, even when they are just sitting around) and employee in there atleast $10 each (bouncer, doorman, DJ gets (20+ if helps with songs) waitress, bartender.. every fucking person, wheres the respect, night people?? LOL )
I go in and like to spend big money to get treated very well, In my short Experience only daytime people can respect this.. so far
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I don't know why they would think you are a snob or a know-all just for telling them about a stripper website but I can understand how you might come off looking like you are talking down to them about their job, depending on how you say it. Maybe you are just not being casual enough. I've never mentioned the site to a dancer myself. Perhaps they are uncomfortable because you as a customer know a lot about their industry.
As for spending and tipping, I only spend money on what I like and only what I think it is worth. I tip for a stage sets I like, tip for conversation in excess of reasonable hustle time and of course LDs. So when I spend, I have already got what I spent or tipped for and don't expect any more. I go to SCs for LDs and stage shows and whatever other interaction comes my way; I don't go there to socialize or be treated well. I turn up, get what I want then leave and socialize somewhere else. Strippers generally don't care about anything but my money and I don't care about anything but what I get from them for it. SCs are not like restaurants or other hospitality venues where the management and staff aim to foster goodwill.
You would have to be spending more than a few hundred total in one night to get special attention. However, it seems other customers in the types of clubs I go to generally do not think to tip at all, except at the stage, so dancers do at least appear pleasantly surprised and appreciative when I do tip them. Still, I don't expect anything from them beyond that.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I mention it from time to time, but even the girls who told me about it don't come on here. They just use it for club reviews. Shame really, as they could learn so much more.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I have mentioned it but I don't go into much detail. I don't want any of the girls I work with to learn how to out hustle me. This is my secret weapon ;)

I've only mentioned it a couple of times. Once was shortly after I met my newbie stripper friend. Struggling to get dances, struggling to get up the nerve to talk to guys, relying pretty much on guys asking her. She quickly told me she was familiar with this site. She hasn't progressed much so I suspect she does not use this site.
Once was to another girl, 2 weeks in the biz. Was talking how everything was new to her, very unsure of things. I mentioned this site as a potential resource and she was very appreciative. I haven't seen her since so don't know how she made out.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I don't mention it to customers, ever. Then I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing my stripper/personal anecdotes because what if the guy in question decided to lurk and read? It makes me very uncomfortable when I sit with a customer and they know something personal about me. Even if its just a "How is your dog?" My mind races to OMG who are you? How do you know I have a dog?!? Tho usually, its someone I sat with before and didnt remember. I still hate that feeling.
As for girls, Nope I dont mention it either. I like to be the mega hustler in every club. Unless I take a liking to a certain girl, they are on their own.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I've mentioned SW a few times in the clubs, but in my neck-o-the-woods, most dancers seem to only know zbone (our local sc site) much better than SW. Just a locality thing, I guess.
I do get a kick out the reaction to whenever SW is mentioned over on TUSCL. Woo-hah! There's no love-lost toward the pinkies from over there in the sub-sub- basement ;)
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I mentioned it a few times way back when, but yes - I quickly learned that no one wants advice about how do to their job from their customer...
I certainly don't - lol!
otoh, it was awesome to be able to say - "wow, you're Susan Wayward from SW aren't you? i'm dlabtot"
ps, yes that machine does kill fascists

To dancers? I've never recommended it but it does come up in conversation on occasion. A couple of my favs are on this site though they don't post very often and rarely venture in to customer convo or blue. We discuss some of the threads and have a good laugh about some of the characters who show up here but that's about it. I know they enjoy the site and find it helpful but they are pretty smart and I don't feel the need to educate them.
To a customer? Why on earth would I be wasting time in a strip club talking to a customer?
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I've mentioned it a few times over the years but only one of my dancers joined the site. She was a short timer as it turned out. All my regulars were disinterested.

Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
ive mentioned it to a couple of dancers who i liked... none of them really seemed interested though. i kind of like keeping it separate.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
In my experience the ladies who are interested in something like this site are going to find it on their own. The few gals I know who are here did.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
it never really comes up but whenever I hear a girl refer to one of her customers as a "custy" (I effing HATE that word by the way) it makes me wonder if she uses SW.
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I like to keep it to myself :)
Re: Mentioning this wesite In Real Life
I've told none of the girls I work with now but several girls from former clubs in the South use the site. They mostly lurk. However, I do talk about TUSCL at work. After reading the reviews about my club and date/time I've identified a few of them in person. When they ask me how I found the club since I'm not from here I mention it and they say hey I'm a member there too. It's a bridge to walk across into dance land.
