Black hair with pale skin?
Since I am pasty ass white girl (I have a odd pale skin tone I am actually considered neutral so I have tones from both the cool family and the warm family...) Would it be best to get a black hair dye with bluish hues in it or a regular black with brown hints in it? Any advice?

Thanks, so do you think I should go for a bluish black or a black with brown tones?

Black with brown is normally the way to go for very pale girls.
Black with blue tends to look very severe and unflattering most of the time.
Re: Black hair with pale skin?
^^^^ Very true. I'm very pale and once dyed my hair blue black and I hated it. Bleached it out the next day to a lovely orange colour lol!
Re: Black hair with pale skin?
Brown black, it looks a lot more natural and it won't be quite as harsh against your skin tone.
Re: Black hair with pale skin?
If your hair isn't close to black already consider starting off with dark brown because it can look black against pale skin. I'm pale too and when I dyed my hair dark brown everyone thought it was black. It got a lot of compliments too.

I have blue black hair :(
Re: Black hair with pale skin?
My hair is medium and light brown naturally, so I dye it blue black and it looks wayyyy better... but then again I'm medium brown skin tone so you should definatly do dark brown if your as pale as you say you are. But if you really want black hair you could always get a tan.

I'd definitely have to recommend a brown-black too. The top earner at my club has that look, and she can dress it up either gothic or go for more of a 'standard' stripper look. The main thing about it I think is the flexibility and the mass appeal - blue-black on a white girl is distinctly "scene", so it appeals to younger guys. Brown-black keeps your options open for older men who might be subconsciously unsettled by your hair being that "severe".
It kind of sucks that it is that way (we're still fucking hot, older conservative guys! goddamn), in my opinion, but there you go.

I second this. Go super-dark gradually, and I always, always, always recommend having your hair colored professionally, as opposed to doing it at home. Some girls claim it doesn't make a difference, but I personally can always tell the difference between a home dye job and a professional one. Plus it's better for your hair, since lots of salons offer less harsh chemicals during the coloring process.
Although I sometimes like the blue-black look, it's a difficult thing. It either looks fucking phenomenal, or fucking atrocious, never in between. It depends on your personal coloring. So, once again, I second lol1337a's suggestion of just getting a dark brown first. Then you can get used to it and figure out how it works with your skin.
Re: Black hair with pale skin?
I do blue black and do quite well with it but I'm a pasty white goth chick with bettie bangs (think Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction). The color and style kind of go hand in hand and I usually balance the hair out with more "normal" makeup and outfits so I don't scare people off. For most people I'd suggest brown black. You can always do blue black over the brown black later if you want to. If nothing else you could always just try on some wigs and see for yourself what you like.
Do make sure to style it well, I've noticed that black hair more than any other color tends to look really greasy if it's overloaded with product or just not clean. And don't forget to make sure your eyebrows match! There's nothing goofier than someone with dyed black hair and eyebrows that don't match. I prefer to use a little black eyeshadow on mine for a more natural look but I've seen girls use pencil and look great too.

I did blue black tonight :D
Re: Black hair with pale skin?
I ended up doing a blue black in my hair. My eye brows are black so it all works out perfect :D
