well, I did it, and my conclusion is upscale works for me. could have been a fluke, but most nights I average anywhere from 350-500 and tonight I made 900 :]
I put on a rhinestone necklace, bracelet, and earrings, a black lace corset, a black lace thong, thigh high stockings, 8 inch black heels, red nail polish, fake eyelashes, smokey eyeshadow, and no bronzer or spray tan. guys LOVED IT. the rich old men were instantly drawn to me. I had 5 different guys tip me 20-30 bucks just to sit and chat for 5 minutes.
I got a champagne room with a guy who told me how much he loved a "well manicured woman"
I got compliments all night on how amazing I looked. instead of the usual "damn you're hot!" or "you're fine as hell!" guys were telling me I looked "radiant" "elegant" and "stunning"
the look was actually pretty easy and CHEAP to do too. I bought the rhinestone jewelry at walmart all for 13 bucks total. NYC brand nailpolish for 2 bucks. 5 dollar eyelashes. same old makeup I always wear. I bought the corset at TJ maxx for 10 bucks! it was way easier than I thought it would be and it came together really well :D
I'm pretty excited!
i think a lot of older guys miss the classy stripper look. it seems in short supply these days. if you look expensive, and people percieve you as such you will attract higher dollar customers.
Keep it going xGigi Kardashian! You can take that look to the bank! ;)
How the fuck am I gonna do upscale goth look? rhinestone bats? FUCK!!!!!! >:(
nah thats what you want to stay away from.
do classy black outfits and rhinestones. any kinds of stones. red would look nice. dark makeup. you want to stay away from skulls or bats or things that scream hot topic.
Lucky american dancers... In Eu,a part a few rare clubs, it is getting trashy everywhere the clothing style of the dancers and the costumers do on conseguence....
W classy strippers and glamorous looks!
I think the topless clubs and clothed dances are the best....but here all clubs have stage topless or nude and the same for the dances...
I love the upscale look, but right now I am confined to working only Saturdays, and the younger guys/bachelor party guys at my club seem to gravitate towards the girls with the bikinis and sourpuss faces. As such, I am going to try wearing a hot pink and black striped bikini and black thigh highs this weekend. But god help me, I will not surrender my black eyeliner!
^young guys love the iced out diva. makes them feel like they're getting a celebrity or a model. try it!
Ive certainly never had a problem with it. No matter what club Ive worked and Ive worked some dives. I always think of it as same technique as "he who thinks stripper is rich will pay stripper more money than usual". Same as when a guy asks how many dances ive done tonight Ill say some really high number. How much money have I made - I say double to triple. If they think Im rich they think Ive got something special that they want.
^this is very true. the day I sold my first full-hour champagne room I was SO excited and I sat down with a customer and he was like "so how's your night going?" and I was just gushing about how I sold this extremely expensive room and how easy it was and how happy I was about it. I had also gotten a ton of dances before the CR so I was just gushing and gushing about all the money I had made that night. I genuinely didn't even want to hustle the guy I was talking to I just wanted someone to tell my success story to since the other girls would be furious. the guy was like "wow that's GREAT! you must be awesome!" and ended up buying four dances from me.
I was on a couple of gothic clothing sites and I got some ideas..... :D
If you can find a Claire's Boutique near you check it out. They have beautiful rhinestone chokers for as cheap as $15-$20.. I used to wear rhinestone chokers and maybe one or two tight rhinestone bracelets or even rhinestone hoops.. Otherwise if you look up discount rhinestone chokers on google you will find something as well :)
I bought my rhinestone jewelry at walmart for a grand total of 13 dollars.
^That works too :)
Sometimes malls will have kiosks of very elaborate rhinestone jewelry. Some of it is way too over the top for me, even for the club, but you can usually find the stretchy rhinestone bracelets and a few chokers. And earrings galore. I'd check any of the malls in your area; you'll probably find something.
yeah.... i gave one to the very young dancer at my work (the one who didn't know what the labia were) she didn't have a purse and was going to use her pleaser shoe bags (you know the white ones that cover the new shoes) as a purse. -_- I wisely diverted her attention.
