tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
how to sell a champagne room:
1. ASK.
Some guys don't even know the champagne room exists. Some guys will say no to a dance, but for SOME reason will say yes to a champagne room. Some guys are just plain intrigued by the words "champagne room" and their curiosity alone closes the sale. I've been dancing for a year and out of the dozens of CRs I've sold, there have only been maybe three guys who have asked ME to do a CR with them. If you never mention the champagne room, your chances of selling one are slim!
2. ASK EVERYONE.
You really want to sell a room and you're scanning the bar for a business man or some old guy...well, go ahead, but if they turn you down and the only guys left are some twenty-somethings, instead of turning around and going into the dressing room, try them! The last champagne room I sold was to a 21 year old college student. I don't know how he had the money...and I don't care! :D You never know how much is in a guy's wallet
3. Use a sales pitch! It's tacky, but it works! Words to include: private, intimate, quiet, secluded, luxurious, sensual, naughty, etc. Avoid over-using "fun". EVERY time I hear a girl trying to sell a room, she's like "it'll be fuuunnnn!!! we'll have so much fun up there! don't you want to have fun with me?" EVERY girl says her CR will be "fun". Delete "fun" from your vocabulary. It's not enticing.
4. If the club lets you charge your own price, KNOW YOUR PRICE. Don't be like "uhh well...I don't know...see..the club charges a fee for a half hour...so I don't know..." Be Firm! "A half hour is $300."
5. Once you name your price, watch his reaction and see how he absorbs it. If he makes a stink about the price, don't give up! Say "well let's try a 15 minute session and see how you like it!" If he seems unsure, take the pressure off.
Ever been to a car dealership and you get some asshole who sits you down after you look at ONE car and wants to know NOW if you're buying the car. They say shit like "well let's run a credit check. what's your social security number?" trying to lock you into the sale before you even have time to think about it. Super annoying!!!
If you ask for a champagne room and stare at him intently until he gives you an answer, you're turning him off. Say "Well, no pressure. You think about it." Sit back, take a sip of your drink, smile, be nonchalant.
6. Avoid the time wasters. If a guy says yes to a champagne room, but wants to wait a little while, give him 10 minutes, 15 minutes tops if it's a slow night. Unless he has a reason for dragging his feet (wants to finish watching the game, waiting for a business call) walk away! Unless it's your regular, a champagne room for most guys is an impulse buy and the more time he spends thinking about it, the less likely he is to get it. If you walk away and another girl whisks him off into the CR, either he didn't like you that much or she claimed/offered to do extras and there wasn't much you could do about it.
also, things that are important to know are: does your club do cash advances? what's the ATM fee? what's the house fee for 15 minutes/30 minutes/1 hour? how many complimentary drinks come with it? these are important things guys wanna know
share your tips :]

I'd also like to add: Depending on your CR... there are reasons other than dances that a man will pay to be alone with you. Most girls don't think about that: what unique features does your VIP have that make it a better place to be than the normal club? USE THOSE SELLING POINTS!
Music too loud? CR has separate volume controls/is quieter.
Doesn't want a dance because he doesn't like the music? He can pick his OWN music in the CR!
Wish you knew the score of the game? We've got a VIP lounge with TV!
Not every club has a cool CR... but a lot of them do, and girls never really use it to their advantage.
I've sold 1k+ VIPs before to customers who just wanted a quiet place to talk.

I'm in it!
I'm cute give me all your money! (it works)
I'll let you sniff my soiled undies because I'm a dirty slut
I'll let you spank me with an inanimate object
You know you like it you pathetic piece of shit! Bend over!
(these lines actually work)

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
i overuse positive words so it really sinks in and continually keep bringing dances and private and fun and intimate and sexy back into the conversation until all this talking up of the rooms intrigue them and wanna check it out. or ask about it and i tell them how theyre gonna have the time of their life their, unlike the rest of the losers who sit around on the floor and miss the real fun...
curiousity killed the cat.... or opened the wallet

Starting higher typically gives you room to negotiate down. If a customer says that's too much you can always suggest a cheaper/shorter option.
Where I start depends on how the club prices things. Like... if a club does something like 500 for fifteen, 1000 for half an hour 1500 for an hour... I'd start with the half hour. In a case where it's $500 for 15 no matter what... may as well start by quoting the price for an hour.

girl i don't think they are paying for a "dance"
I could be totally wrong.
I work in an affluent area and six songs in VIP is 135.
I was actually chatting with my manager who said something along the lines of " Nobody is paying $500 dollars unless they're getting some action."

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
^There are plenty of guys still willing to pay that much without "getting some action"... AND there are clean dancers on this site who sell MUCH more expensive CR's than that. ;P

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
Wow, LOL. This girl's manager is training her totally wrong. I actually feel bad for you "anotherbruisedpeach". You really need to switch clubs ASAP.

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
I've had guys tell me they don't feel comfortable paying for my company, so I tell them that they're not buying 'me', the price is for the room so we can continue having such a great time together, but away from the noise and crowds, and other girls trying to whisk me away to do double dances.

you have fixed rate? well try this one "the half hour is 175 and I'd like a x dollar tip"
I worked at this shitty club in CT called hollywood where the 30 minute was 200 dollars and you only got to keep 100. you got 2 drinks and the actual "rooms" themselves were just big ass couches lined up next to each other. whenever I sold a room there I would ask for a 50 dollar tip. if the guy asked why in the hell I would want a 50 dollar tip I'd say "well as an independent contractor I reserve the right to charge my own rates." and sometimes it worked. all the other girls went around charging 200 and if you charge 250, they're like "well what's so special about YOU?" and you say "well come find out ;]"

Right when I go back into the VIP to do regular lapdances & sit down with the customer before the songs starts I will ask "So have you been here before?"
Varies slightly depending on their answer:
"Yes I've been here before." = I say "Ooooh well have you ever been upstairs before?" (Intense eye contact, lean in close, sexy/intriguing tone, rub their chest a little bit) Then I'll tell them about our private rooms where it's SO much more intimate & quiet & how they get me completely naked for a half hour. And we get 2 yummy complimentary glasses of champagne!
"No I've never been here before." = I say "Ooooh well we should go upstairs instead and do a champagne room together!" If they hesitate, then I'll say "Or we can just do this dance down here then head upstairs after this!" (Intense eye contact, lean in close, sexy/intriguing tone, rub their chest a little bit) Then I'll tell them about our private rooms where it's SO much more intimate & quiet & how they get me completely naked for a half hour. And we get 2 yummy complimentary glasses of champagne!
If they hesitate, it seems a lot easier to sell them when the first song is ending and you're topless in their lap giving them fuck-me eyes...
that's a GREAT idea. I never thought of asking before a LD. usually when a guy wants a LD form me I'll start even if it's the middle of a song. I'm gonna definitely try this.

This is exactly what I do but I always offer an hour first. If they balk at the price, try to sell them the half hour.

Start asking for tips. Big ones.
When I used to work at a club with $100 15 minute VIPs I'd always say "That's $100 for the club... and $100 for me!" It worked more often than not.
Another tip - Always take the long way to the dance area so that you're walking PAST the CR/VIP rooms. A lot of customers will be like "WOW! How much to go in there!" Or "Wait, what are these rooms?" Or "Can we do the dance in here?"
This works especially well if you have a really open LD area... or really tiny dance booths.

Me, too... that's why I always say it in sort of a cheeky/playful way. Sometimes they give me what I ask for... sometimes they chuckle at my "joke" and give me $20-40... but I've almost NEVER had anyone not tip me extra.

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
I like playing the "I can't hear you game" with customers sometimes to take them up to the champagne room. I speak a little too softly and pretend I can't hear them welll then pull them away to a "quieter corner" and sell them once they are already on their feet and near the champagne room. It's a fun hustle when I'm bored or it's slow because it seems so silly to me but it works reallly well. Chatters have to pay for a champagne room if they want my attention.

Well if it makes you feel any better, our 20min is €375, of which we only get €90!!
An hour is €775, and we only get €245, in fact we get €190 if my boss feels that she was the one who sold it. And the customers think we're making a fortune from them! :( There's not a good tipping culture here either because its so expensive and the customers think we get it all :(

Totally used this line at work today. :-) BTW, I totally sold the room.

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
Totally agree with the OP that CR/VIP purchases are made on impulse for most guys, which is why I wait to sell them til they are already out of their seat and have agreed to a dance.
A good sign is when the custy doesn't ask how much dances cost before he agrees to one}:D or if they do ask, I say "well, we have a couple different options, so we'll just pop back there and get you set up and see what you want to go for!" while nodding the whole time. (He is now pretty much aware that you are likely going to be hitting him up for more than 20 bucks lol!) Before he has much time to think, immediately assume the sale, smile, say "follow me!" and start walking off!
So now that he is up and out of his little comfort zone and/or away from his buddies, you have the upper hand! (And remember he is already planning to spend SOME money on you, just probably not as much as you're about to ask him to!;) )
If he has never been to my club before, he doesn't know where the LD rooms are, so I just lead him to where ever that club runs customers credit cards for VIP/CR's. That way as soon as you have him agree to your upsell he can fork over his card right then before he can start having 2nd thoughts!
HTH! GL!

Re: tips for selling a champagne room. add yours!
A tip I use when I get a client to agree to a VIP/CR session is to pressure up sell.
Lets say a guy agrees to 30 minutes for 300. Once you've got him back there and he's about to pay the host say "Well Mike, why don't we do 45 minutes for 450 instead? I'm sure our host Bob will let us stay the whole hour together without any interruptions." Always do this in front of the host! Normally guys dont want to look like an ass in front of the clubs VIP/CR host.
If "Mike" says yes, then you have an extra 100+ bucks in your wallet. If he says no, then no harm done. Say "I'm sorry Mike, I just wanted to spends a little extra time with you without being rushed. But it's okay! We can be creative with here and now."
