A customer came up and said "you are working too hard" what does that mean?
It's a pick up line. He was trying to say "sit down and come talk to me". He's also an idiot.
He's sayingg "stop hustling, trying to make money, and sit down and talk to me for free".
Why didn't you ask the custy? It's really hard for me to guess what he really meant because I don't know what you were doing at the time and what he actually was responding to, if anything at all.
Custys double talk in the club all the time. Many blurt out stupid stuff just to hold your attention, while others throw out confusing one-liners just to be jackoffs and try to look smarter than they really are. It's really hard to say.
Maybe the custy saw you struggling and thinks you were doing more than you should to make money.
Maybe the custy is just hating because you were making money and didn't give him/her the time of day.
Maybe, this could of been a brain teaser to try and throw you off your game. Dunno for sure, but don't let it faze you and never let them see you sweat.
Working too hard? I forgot were supposed to not work, duh..were supposed to walk around and dance around naked for free.
I hate when they say vague shit like that. who knows what it meant. maybe it was a joke, maybe it was a pickup line, maybe it was sarcastic, maybe it was an insult, maybe it was a socially awkward outburst because that was the best thing he could think of to say. I would have probably ignored him.
Who cares? Most things customers say along those lines are idiotic and irrelevant.
Girl, you should've said "You're right...let's go relax together in the CR!"
Eh, goes in one ear and out the other!
Who cares? Maybe you were hustling him too hard, maybe you were walking the floor w/o luck, who knows? I wouldnt worry about it,
"It's not work if you enjoy it!" (Meaning: you can't tell me to stop working because then you'd be telling me to stop enjoying myself. Aha! You also can't ask me to sit and chat --ahem, "relax"-- with you, have a drink, GO HOME or OUT with you, party, etc., etc., etc.)
Its hard to tell without context....
Probably a pick up line - come sit with me blah blah blah...
In general, if you can't turn it around to make money, it doesn't matter what they say. Don't care about the one guy who insults you or looks down at you, or tries to pick you up or make you work for free. Focus on the guys who will pay for you - they will always make their meaning clear, because they want you to reply and have a conversation with them!
