Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
My first post ever...
OK, so, I'm not that pretty. I am from the front, and with make-up on, but I have quite a big nose that you can see from the side. Does this really matter? I have nice eyes, perfect shaped eyebrows but not chunky lips, they are just average. With my makeup done up I can look good from the front (in my opinion, just not the side cause I really hate my nose.)
I have a great body though, will anybody really be looking at my nose...? It's not monstrous, and it's not crooked, but it's just.. the 'bridge' part goes out more than it should.. if that makes sense..

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
You'll be fine. Guys want the whole package - dancing, hot bod, pretty face, good personality. Being a little self-conscious about your nose shouldn't hold you back if you have everything else going for you! :)

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
There is nothing wrong with a pronounced nose. I think they're kinda cute. If that's all that's concerning you then you've got no worries. A great body is a good thing as well boobs and a city can work wonders.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
no. -_- For better or for worse, a pretty face is not an essential. These days a pretty face doesn't mean shit. There is something for everyone in today's industry.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
No, dont worry. We all have flaws, you shouldnt worry about this at all.
Most men dont notice, ones you get dressed up, with hair and make up done your good to go. A good attitude will make men love you more that they wont even bother with such little things, unless they are assholes which is a rare bunch at times.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
Cleopatra had a big nose and she scored with Caesar and Antony. Anne Boleyn had a longish nose and she became queen of England. You'll be fine.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
"Pretty" often has a lot more to do with grooming, confidence, and attitude. Yes, some girls have natural beauty and are strikingly attractive from the minute they roll out of bed, but these kinds of girls are a small percent of the population. If your makeup and hair are on point, you know how to play up your assets with your costume/dancing, and you can talk to customers (hustle!), you can do really well. The girls with the naturally beautiful faces are NOT always top earners, anyway.
I work with a girl who has a very "plain" face, but a great booty (and she can shake that thang, too), and she usually spends most of her night in VIP.
Know your strenghts, and own it. Confidence is HOT.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
No it is not. Hell, can you imagine if strip clubs were set in florecent lighting?!

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
As long as we aren't talking about full on deformities, a great body and a meh face will get you farther than a great face and a meh body.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
I can't help but to bring up a theme that has been mentioned before: Confidence!!

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
I was watching a live show on TV and the entertainer was joking about how guys will think a girl is hot if she has a good body- even if the head is like a horse.
I'm sure your head isn't like a horse. I bet you don't even have "that" big a nose and even if you did- remember that girl in Dirty Dancing movie that never worked again after getting a nose job because she no longer had a unique look.
Forget about your nose and go rock the club.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
Most men marry pretty face women & go to the SC to play with hot stripper bodies they don't have at home. :D
In the SC, men don't give a sack of shit about a girl's face as long as her body looks like it's built for sex...along with a personality that's sensual/slutty.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
There are a lot of girls at my club with nose bumps like that. They're still gorgeous, and make plenty of money. I know what it's like to have a nose you don't like, though... I had a nose job to fix mine, which was really wide AND had a bump. lol. But at a strip club, honestly, your body is equally or more important than your face.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
Alice-
I just went to audition yesterday and was intimidated by girls like you. I have a traditionally pretty face (though got a nose job and fuller lips) but I looked like crap next to the girls with the larger noses/smaller lips who had gorgeous skin and their makeup done flawlessly.
From what I saw on my first day, its how you put yourself together and your confidence that makes you stand out. I was quaking in my platforms and had crappy makeup so my "pretty" face looked like shit, I wouldn't get a dance that day so I left.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
This thread is interesting to me. I've been dancing for a long, long time and I have been insecure, sometimes terminally so, mostly because of my facial looks. I've spent so much time in the dressing room, fixing up my shininess, globing on concealer because my biggish, deep set eyes tend to cast shadows and make my dark circles darker and I've spent tons of $$ on lipsticks that "stay on for 12 hours" because a motorcycle accident left me w/ a slightly crooked lip line.
And guess what? It was no worth the worry and it was wasted time.
It wasn't until a few months ago, I got a surprise visit from a close friend. I had been a home, kind of in hiding because I was detoxing and doing my work-outs w/ weights, my pole and wiifit plus at home. When she came over, I had just finished a work out, I was stuffing my face w/ veggies, sweaty and no make-up. I had also not had a drink in a week or more. She said my skin looked fabulous and crystal clear:O
I had always been embarrassed by my oily skin, but now that I'm older, it has balanced out and just looks healthy.
So, I now wear half the make-up I use to and instead of pouring powder on my face, I blot it once a shift w/ papers and instead of tacking on concealer after every stage dance, I do it once a shift and just dot a bit of eye cream underneath.
Sorry this was so long. It's just my allegory, that you don't need to worry. Your bod and hustle are your selling tools.
A long time ago, I once got a compliment, it made me mad at the time, but in hind sight it makes sense. A custy said this, " I don't know what it is about you. You're like magnetic and sexy. I mean I've known prettier women but I just can't keep my eyes off you".
Yeah, it made me insecure and mad at the time, but now i get it.

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
However, I have to mention this: I work in a club in which the dancers are mostly latinas and the customer base is mostly as well. They tend to like bigger, curvier women. They don't care if they are bordering on obese. There are two or three that have huge stomachs, are not that firm but have really cute to classically beautiful faces and two of them are not that young.
They get dances and they have regulars. They also speak fluent spanish and have their hustle down and they are confident. But they probably couldn't get a job at the Spearmint Rhino in Vegas:-\

Re: Is a pretty face *really* that essential...?
My friend Silvia back home has a face that would make Michaelangelo jizz in his pants... fucking beautiful perfectly symmetrical straight short nose big brown eyes long dark hair...etc but her body is meh even she admits it. But she always fucking banks.....
It's a running joke with us, she got the face, I got the TNA
I mean don't get me wrong I don't have PBS but I have a very round cute little face. It's not classically beautiful like hers. It's very innocent and cute.
