Thinking of auditioning tonight...
I'm beyond nervous and jittery about auditioning.
I want to hit up Scores tonight because time is flying by and I was planning on making money by now. I just can't work up the courage!!!
Ok, so I think I'll just do my nails and lower my expectations drastically and see what happens.
I can't believe how long I've been putting off the audition!
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Omg I put off auditioning for sooo long! And then I recently moved to a new state and had to get a new club... put that off for ages too.
Just get all dolled up, and get some good music on so that you're in the "I'm hot and I love to dance" mood, and then walk in and put your sass on and ask for the manager. Before you know it you'll be hired and then when you read about new girls on here having audition nerves, you'll be like the rest of us now telling you it's not a big deal ;D
Go girl!!
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
So I went to Scores last night, popped a xanax on the drive over.
Thanks to all the girls on SW, I had a gym bag full of extra shoes, extra outfits, baby wipes, garters, a wristlet, mints, baby wipes. I guess I looked like a pro because the manager asked where I danced before. I told him it was my first time and he made this "uh oh" expression but kept going. In all, Scores Chicago is extremely professional!
I went on a Thursday thinking it would be quiet but it was packed and it was swarming with dancers. When I walked into the DR, I immediately wanted to run away. I waited a bit, texted to calm down all the while the house mom kept asking "are you ready yet?"
I went into the bathroom to practice taking off my gown dress, which I had never done and it was so tight it kept pulling off my panties with it!!! Good thing I practiced.
Anyway, they put me on a side stage and I danced half a song and the dancing part was the easiest! I got the ok after 30 seconds and they asked if I wanted to start that night. Hell no! The audition alone stressed me out so much that I just wanted to get home to bed and sleep off the xanax.
So I'm hired! I start tomorrow, among mega hustlers and I have no clue how it'll go! It was good to see how they all looked though, which was very fab. Somehow their makeup and hair looked much better than my standard smokey eye look. So I've got to work on my outfits and I still have this "oh shit, what am I getting myself into" expression on my face as the girls scamper around naked giggling happily. Definitely have to change that right away!
Long post but I'm beyond thrilled! Thanks girls! Hopefully I'll make something tomorrow to cover all the tip outs!
Oh-and I didn't even bother covering up my crease incision scars, the hyperpigmentation on my back nor my stretchmarks on my ass and hips (which are pretty noticeable-thankfully I have a nice ass). So all those worries went out the window right away.
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Damnnn, good job girl!! That's a really nice club too, if it's the one I'm thinking of - congrats!! You're one of us now ;) lol!
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
congrats!! Did the xanax actually help ? lol ive tried it once to ease my nerves also but it only made me sick :(

Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Good for you sweetie!
I was going to suggest--one of the best ways to trick yourself into going to work is to get all dolled up, hair done, makeup perfect, and by the time you're done, you're like "Shit, I worked this hard to get ready...I better make some money off of it!"
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Good job! You started kind of high for a newb lol Scores is very high end! The girls are hustlers - at least the NYC one is. Don't bother covering your crease incisions...noone really does.
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Thanks everyone!
I freaking LOVE STRIPPING!!!
I made 126 my first night (after tipouts and a cute pair of sparkly undies I bought in the DR) but had a pro helping me and then last night I broke 400 all by myself. My feet are freaking ready to fall off, I'm covered in bruises all over my legs, I tore out fifteen eyelashes wearing falsies for the first time (way too much glue) but I am immensely happy.
I don't know what I would do without all you girls on here and your advice. I used all of the hustle hut info and nobody believes that I'm a newbie, not the customers nor other girls.
So time for dancerwealth, almost sold a room but the dude kept saying things like "well you're not like the girls in florida" when I did the stripper kung-fu on him. Even though I kept telling him no he kept trying for a room. Meeehhh. Is it always like that? I saw two girls sitting next to an older guy looking at his freaking ipad in one of the rooms so I don't want my first CP to be him trying to get extras.
ANYWAY-THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE!
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Ah, and I did take two xanax my first night but now I'm just letting customers start me off with drinks. Management wants drinks sold so I start ordering the mocktails once I have a happy buzz.
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Yay I'm really happy for you! This has made me even more excited for my audition!!! :))
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
Oh and do you already know how to work the pole and everything? Since your a newbie I mean..or did you just do what other new girls do and hold on to the pole and pose and all that? (just asking because I audition next week at a club that has poles but I'm used to NO pole so I don't know what to do with one yet..just wana know if you got the job without really using the pole!)
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
No more XANAX. I don't want you to form a habit whether it be alchohol or xanax. Soon, you will come to depend on it and you will feel like you don't make money/or not as much without it.
Re: Thinking of auditioning tonight...
There's no pole in our club but the floorwork gets pretty wild! My knees are already covered in bruises.
I don't think it matters how good you are on stage, the trick is just to look out and make eye contact and entice guys that you've talked to or find the ones who are watching you closely. Then just treat their dollars as calling cards and go chat them up after the dance. Don't worry about the pole! I'm going to learn all the advanced floorwork things to cater to the larger fun crowds but its not necessary.
As for the xanax/alcohol-the xanax was only for the first night because I would have flat out bolted otherwise. It was so terrifying but the alcohol is already getting old. After three days I don't need it anymore, its enough to pump myself up with music and turn on my stripper persona.
