Squats: Nice ASS or Fat ASS
Just started doing squats at my gym trying to keep my ass nice and firm. The only question is I heard it can really build up your thigh muscles. Do you think squats could hurt you more than they could help you? What kind of exercises do you do to keep a nice butt while still staying slim? Thanks guys! xo Tati

After I got my boobs done, I couldnt work out... Now I still dont do the hard stuff I used to go on my upper body, but I totally believe in squats!!!!
After not working for a few months, I started doing them, Did quiet a lot within 4 days, and noticed a difference in my ass! I love it. It makes my ass perkier! It does gain muscle as long as you take a day break and do it every other day give the muscles a rest and re-do all over, to keep it in that shape I think youll be ok without gaining the muscle gain you dont want.

They help for me. Not just squats - every exercise that works that muscle area. Do a lot of reps and stretch. You will be sore, sore, sore. They lift my butt, so I guess that looks like it sticks out more. Guys tell me my butt looks bigger, so maybe there's more to it. I don't have any hips though, so unless I turn to the side, you can't tell that I have a nice ass for my size. I also read that unless it's in your genes, just doing those workouts alone will not help. I def didn't get it from my mom (she has flat booty).

i think that these are good for targeting your ass and not over-working/building your leg muscles.

If you could only do one exercise in the gym for the rest of your life, I would say it would be a tossup between squats and deadlifts. Squats are super important, just get your form really correct when doing them.

Do not think of the exercise as the builder....food is. Keep training your legs & butt with a proper diet you will not build to much muscle.

Squats are the grand daddy of all weight lifting. In fact, I would suggest all health and capable individuals do squats. What type of squats and reps/weight are you doing?

I don't do squats but I learned to flex my ass cheeks and I do it a LOT not just at work like in the car or when I'm watching tv and I noticed that I've been getting a lot more compliments on my butt lately

I love squats! They really are one of the best exercises you can do at the gym. Start out doing them on the smith machine, it's safer and you can learn how to use proper form to eventually do them without it.
