Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
One of my friends wants to start doing webcam, Streamate in particular. I know the cammodels link gives us a % on new members we bring in but does it also bring in commissions or percent for new models? If so I'd like to use my link for her to sign up. For some reason I can't find anything about this on SM.
I'd also like to know if any other sites offer this type of deal, earning commissions for new model sign-ups. I'm doing research right now but I thought I'd ask here too. 8)
Thanks!

Webcams.com does not have such program... I can't remember them having such.

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
Thank you!! Do I have to become a model on those sites or can I simply use their affiliate programs?

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
All the places that do model referral schemes have affiliate ones - but she might wonder why you're sending her somewhere you're not lol

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?

Thanks, no I'm gonna send her to Streamate. I was just curious about the other sites because it might be a good method to earn money if I can think of some good strategies. :P

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
Streamate does it too. I think you get a percentage of her earnings for a month or two. Using your cammodels link

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
Thanks everyone! I'll be looking more into all these sites today. And I'll send my friend the cammodels link. I hope it works. Free money, right? ;D (if she doesn't chicken out, that is.)

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
Haha, thanks. I told her about webcam a long time ago, she always seemed interested but a bit too shy to try it out. Lately she's been working like crazy, 50-60 hours a week at minimum wage and she makes less then I do working 15ish hours (since I'm super lazy and all). So I think she's gonna try it out. I'm sure she'll do well. And she knows I want to sign her up through my link & she's cool with it. :P

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
Imlive: they cancelled theirs a couple of years back, when I was making $3-500 a week from it :(
Sexier.com (Imlive's sister site): pays 40% of referred model eanrings for their first 2 weeks, then it tiers down every 2-4 weeks until it hits 2% in weeks 19-24. You must be a model to refer others. I never refer models there though because I've never tried the site and I don't like referring people to places I haven't tried.
Streamray/cams: 10% of models earnings for 6 months; but you have to model there and log in every pay period for the referrals to count. I used to earn over $10 daily from those referrals, but I rarely log into that site since I haven't cammed full time in a while.
AWEmpire/livejasmin: They pay 36% for the models' first 2 weeks then it tiers down similar to the way I described above for sexier. If you use this one I advise referring them to an affiliate link you set up via awempire.com, not via your livejasmin profile. (So, for this one you don't have to be a model) I make $500-800 a month via those referrals alone, so yes, it makes for some decent passive income.
For anyone who is looking to make some passive income doing this I'm giving away my top secret for how I earn hundreds from referrals monthly (a couple of times it was over a stack). This money has been consistent for over a year.
Here's my little secret:
answers.yahoo.com -- that's it! Ladies, at least a few times a week women go to that site asking how to become cam girls. I started answering these questions years ago and provided my links along with real advice and tips to help them get started. It used to be like a ghost town with the only other answers being "don't be a whore" or "eewww why would you want to do that" and other such discouraging remarks. I felt bad that people were so rude to them, so I started helping out with what I knew.
But nowadays, there are so many studio pimps trying to get a piece of the action and they all answer potential models with their formulated answers and promises of thousands a day... All the while they pretend to be real cam girls. Maybe 1 or 2 (like me) really are women in the business, but I can smell a studio pimp a mile away and most of them are exactly that. I'm sick of the stench. I never offer links that take money from the models cut and I hate seeing so many women being led astray and not being given the facts. More REAL MODELS need to be on there.
That's why I want to share this here...
For those of you who want to earn extra income from referrals here are the simple steps:
1: Go to http://answers.yahoo.com , next to the search answers box, click the "advanced search" link.
2: type in terms such as, become webcam model, be cam girl, webcam girl money, etc. and search OPEN QUESTIONS (you can searched closed ones too, to get an idea of what other sorts of answers have been given overtime, plus you'll see how often these things come up)
3: answer with details, encouragement and any tips related to their specific question. Add bonus tips too. Never cut and paste the same answers for several questions. Spin the content, as they say in the article marketing world. (google "article marketing" if you need more on that -- essentially, that's what you will be doing)
4: save your searches. You can have yourself emailed anytime a new question is asked with your saved search terms in it. This way you don't have to go checking manually for questions all the time.
5: If you don't feel it's too dishonest, go and vote yourself best answer (the questions go into voting stage a few days after being opened, then they get closed and cannot be edited). It usually takes 3 votes to be best answer nowadays in the cam girl niche, so open a couple of other accounts and vote with them too.
Yahoo answers show up high in the SERPS so you will get referrals not just from the asker, but from others who will see the answers in the future. When I look at my analytics I see that questions I answered over a year ago are getting me sign ups still.
This may seem like it's not a big deal, but it does work for extra money.
I've gotten ridiculously bored of answering questions about becoming a cam girl, so now I only use yahoo answers (a different profile) just for my natural health affiliate marketing sites, but I don't want to leave those newbie girls to the wolves and would prefer some real cam girls carry the torch, so to speak :) So I hope some of you use this info.
*To avoid getting in trouble with yahoo terms on adult content, I suggest creating a blogger and putting your adult links there; that way on yahoo you can just refer girls to your little mini site instead of directly to an adult site. Put some tips on it too, or maybe a contact form if you don't mind mentoring newbies a bit. I did this a while back and I get regular search engine traffic directly to my sign up links from there.
Also, as an affiliate marketer it's never a good idea to link directly to the affiliate link on sites where you can't change the link. Example: When I modeled for Imlive I was also promoting their referrals on yahoo answers, but when an answer gets closed you can't edit it. Now that Imlive has closed the referral program they still get new models because of the links I put out there years ago and I get squat. Plus, I hear that now their traffic has diminished and I can't edit... you get the point I'm sure.
Here are some other sites that claim to have referral programs, but I haven't tried them:
http://playpen.com/promo/index.php?go=about&do=model
they claim they'll give 5% for referring other models
http://www.rivcash.com/en/webmaster/index.php
claims 10% on referred models
http://www.camsitecash.com/index
claims 10% lifetime (I think they bought out neoncams)
P.S. I think to do it for streamate you have to sign up for a studio account, but if anyone has a direct link or info on how to get a percent from referring girls there without having to be responsible for paying them directly, I'd love to know please.

ClickCash
Quote:
With our Model Referral program, we pay you an additional $100 for each new, qualifying model that you recruit to any of the ClickCash family of websites. (To qualify, the model must be new to the ClickCash family of sites and active for at least six weeks).

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
I emailed streamatemodels support to clarify whether or not models can earn anything from referring new performers, and they replied with:
"We do not offer a referral bonus at this time."
It's still a good site to recommend to friends for cam work, but there is no financial compensation. Technically you could do it through .com, but you'd be a mean friend to refer a buddy to a site that will pay them less than if they did direct sign up, lol.
Happy camming everyone :)

Flirt4Free now pay now $100 for referred models ► My link ◄

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
New info: now you don't have to be a cams.com model to get cash for referring models. If you sign up via their affiliate program (see the affiliate program link at the bottom of any cams page) you can sign people up and get 10% of whatever they make for 6 months. It won't come out of the models earnings. Warning: I've had issues with their affiliate program not tracking things in the past, but that was years ago, so maybe things have been fixed.

Re: Earning commissions or % for model sign-ups?
I have signed up models to SM and NOT as a studio.
It is 10% of their earnings for the 1st 5 weeks. That 10% comes out of SM's end and not the modes..
Naked is paying very well for new models, but she has to spend like 20 hours in private first before you get paid. Heard the refferal fee was $500. But that was like 2 or 3 months ago.
Smooches,
Sam

Not sure why they lied to me... What link do you use? The mtree affiliate link or from a models page (i.e. cammodels.com) I'd never send people to naked, but that's a different issue I won't get into. Anyway, would appreciate how you refer to streamate...
