Do you mean glycolic peels? Do you know what percentage you're looking for? Generally it's not recommended to go over 20-30% at home. Higher strength peels are typically done in-house by a professional (can go up to 60%). MD Forte has a good line for glycolic (they label in Roman Numerals to indicate percentage.... like II = 20% and III = 30%). Make sure to use SPF though if going outside or getting sun exposure.
There's also salicylic and lactic acid peels too.
This is my favorite, it's a little pricey but I don't use it often. Made a big difference on my acne and blackheads. Though I wouldn't use it if you have sensitive skin.

I got a 40% glycolic acid peel from skin obsession on amazon and it was amazing. Just be sure to follow the instructions to a T. I have pitted scars and red scars and it really helped. Like 60% better. It also helped with over all texture and just made my skin look about 5 years younger. I really suggest this product.
I loved my 11% lactic acid peels, but they made more of a difference for brightening, evening skin discolorations, not so much the texture or scarring.
If this is your first time, you might want to try diluting the strength. I've seen girls burn more scars into their faces, because they went too aggressive too fast (depends on your skin). Glycolic acid is water soluble, so it's super easy to dilute. Just mix it with your favorite face lotion. For example (if starting with 40% solution), for 20%: mix 1/2 glycolic product to 1/2 lotion.
I'm going to start with a lactic peel then a low % TCA or glycol peel. I have the red discoloration from the occasional breakout. Not sure if it'd be considered a scar now that I'm learning more. Thank you for all the advice. I'm trying to get my skin to wear I don't need makeup and don't feel so frumpy without it.
