Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
I was kind of curious about this because in the past dancing, I've stayed in little motels that have had a sign saying "No Prostitutes." And, while I'm not a prostitute (what? I'm not! I'm only selling massages and companionship! :D) I am curious about that. I was just in Louisiana and didn't have maid service (which is normal) but I did switch out my towels once a day which was, to my mind, the only thing that would tip them off that I was having guests. Luckily, I was on the backside of the motel and it was a good set-up.
Today, I had a couple daytime appointments, and I know the maid service saw the second guy, and possibly the first. One thing that's really surprised me (aside from how friendly 98% of the people in the biz are) is that there's this WHOLE underground community, and I always knew it was there, but I never knew it was as widespread as it was. So, I highly doubt it's surprising to the maids that a lovely young lady is getting a couple of guests. I'm just wondering to what extent this is an issue?
I talked to another provider and she said that hotel clerks can be known to forward info to the police about suspected providers. Do any of you more experienced women have any opinions/info on this? I'm already planning on changing hotels tomorrow--
either one in the same city or moving on to a different city, so it's not a situation of being here for a week and running through high-volume numbers.
Oh, and as a side note-- my candles dripped onto the carpet and my last visitor cracked me up because he thought that was really bad. And I thought to myself, "Ha! SuperInfo Chick to the rescue!" Luckily my room has an iron, so I just laid down one of the small towels, and laid the hot iron over it, and moved it around for about fifteen minutes (while messing with my computer and such) and voila! The carpet's looking (and smelling) better than ever!

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
So you're not staying at a 31/2 star and up?? I couldn't stay at a motel. When a client is paying $200 and up he expects the girl to have an upscale incall.
Another thing: You're thinking too much about this. Just got to the hotel as an average every day visitor and you'll be fine. As long as your outfit doesn't scream hooker/streetwalker then you should not have a problem.
Yes hotel staff will call the police on you. They will even tell the police what room you're staying in. ooh and if you show your face, it will be very easy for the police to track you because they print the ads off of directories and give it to the hotels when looking to bust escorts.. makes sense? Be careful ;).

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
^Gotcha.
Well the thing is, I'm travelling with my dog, and while I do find clean comfortable places, I haven't committed to the three and a half stars places because I haven't gotten a lot of pre-booked appointments set up.
So either the hotels that I would like to stay at would have an issue with my dog (who hangs out in my car while I'm doing the appointment), or there's some exorbitant non-refundable fee. Thus, why I've been staying at two-star places.
-
Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
Just saying hun....
Two star hotel = not so great reviews/ according to most client = takes away from the experience
...well only if you advertise as "upscale", "VIP"... ya know?
-
Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
Yup. I just need to find more Radissons. I've stayed there before with my dog and it's nice.
-
Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
Ugh! reminds me of when I had my lil dog. Yes, it is a pain in the ass to find a hotel that will accept them. And, if they do, they charge some crazy ass fee.

This is absolutely how a friend of mine got busted. She ended up spending three and a half months in jail in a random state. I had to fly her out to live with me when she was released with absolutely nothing left to her name. The police took everything from her as evidence.
If the staff in a place you're staying at spontaneously decides to take notice, you'll literally never see the bust coming. The police will have already been watching you and would have harvested your information. It has absolutely nothing to do with how you're dressed or what your demeanor is. It will be completely up to the hotel to expose you to the police, under their own suspicions and the police will have probable cause to investigate.
Please be careful.

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
^I got here last night, and I'm leaving tomorrow. So...time-wise, do you think that's enough time to call in and do surveillance? Because I was already leaving tomorrow...
And I'm only seeing P411 clients and double-checking their references.
-
Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
@ VivianBear: Exactly.
Of course LE doesn't care what your fashion style is but it is best to keep a low profile. Ya know? Hotel staff/Maids are pretty noisy. I am friends with a few of them. It only takes one of them to put the whole staff on alert.
Vivian, It is unfortunate what happened to your friend. I used to show my face on ads but stopped for several reasons and this being one of them.
See another thing some escorts do that I think is a bit silly is asking the guests to meet them in the lobby. Um if you're seeing 4-5 guys a day and you're meeting these men in the lobby .. you will EASILY alert the hotel staff. Why the hell would a young woman be meeting all these men in the lobby and then taking them back to her room.. ya see? It's silly :)
So OP, You will have to rethink the whole traveling with doggie thing because you WANT to stay in a hotel that gets a lot of traffic. That's not the case for most two star hotels. You do NOT want to become the focus of hotel staff.

Who you're seeing and how you're checking them has nothing to do with anything. When my friend was busted, it was almost immediately after a session with a client. The cops dealt with her, personally and then trailed her john in his car for a bit before pulling him over and questioning him. Of course, he told them everything about how he'd found her, what they had negotiated and where he normally looks for pros. They cited him and let him go, scott-free. Your johns are the least of your worries, in this situation.
You can't predict what will happen. Its completely up to the hotel and whatever staff decides to take notice of you. But yeah, I wouldn't suggest staying in one place for longer than two nights. That's how my friend got it. She was there for at least three when they took notice of her going in and out. By the way, she was at a five-star hotel/resort. It makes absolutely no difference where you are. Anything can happen anywhere. Be prepared and be vigilant.
-
Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
But most five star hotels are high traffic which is what you want. You want to be able to blend in with everyone else there. Two star motels are already getting lots of escorts staying there already. The last thing you want to do is be busted because they suspected you of something.
Vivian: Your friend didn't get busted because she was staying at a five star hotel. She was busted because the police tracked her from a directory to the hotel she was staying at.
I highly recommend all escorts to stay at 3 1/2 star hotels and up. Please visit the hotel before checking in if you can. Better safe than sorry.

Please don't speculate how or why my friend got busted. Its not debatable. It had nothing to do with a "directory" (she wasn't listed or reviewed anywhere, specifically). It had everything to do with the staff deciding that a young, attractive woman, staying singly and paying for everything with cash looks suspicious and opting to turn her in to the police for investigation. This was revealed to her in statements and testimony by the staff. Trust me, ladies, you'll find out how they caught on to you, in court. Nobody cares who you are until somebody who sees you every day decides to take notice.
-
Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
I think that was my whole point. Please see my previous post. You said attire didn't a matter when in fact it does. All it takes is for ONE of the staff members to think you're suspect to alert the whole staff and turn you into a news story the next morning.
A friend of mine was busted while visiting chicago. She listed on Eros-Guide and the police printed her ad and distributed it to the hotels in the area and just like that she was busted the very next morning. It does happen. If any of you read hooker boards.. visit the alert section and see for yourself. No it does not matter what directory you're listed on but if you advertise and travel .. it is very very easy for LE to track you based on that advertisement and the city you are traveling to.
Vivian, I do not know your friend and I was not trying to debate about her getting busted.

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
Oh and just one more thing:
This is one of the reasons why you shouldn't use the hotel internet.
The hotels can see EACH and EVERY website you visit. Pretty girl walking through
the lobby... and they're suspecting. "Well let's see what site she's been visiting. Hooker boards, backpage? eccie? eros-guide? She's gotta be a hooker!".

You are forgetting one thing - and every girl should know this - many motels: Motel 6, Best Western, Extended Stay, actually have a room set aside for local LE as a 'break room'. It's win-win. The cops can come nap on their lunch break, the motels have a lot of LE traffic to keep guests safe.
The only loser in this situation is hard working girls.

Exactly!
So when VivianBear gives information like "It doesn't matter what class of hotel you're staying in" it really does. Best Western and Motel 6 is particularly known for stings. I also recommend escorts to join escort boards and get insider information like this from other escorts because it's not something you can find in a book. There is a high end hotel that is LE friendly. Escorts, You can pm me for that info.

Shit. I've been using the hotel internet. I've been wondering about that.

Wireless USB is your best friend.
You can buy at Best Buy, get a Virgin one and buy top up cards for cash.
No need to make it easy for people to be getting in your business.

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
The wireless dongle will run us a lot cheaper, too! I know hotels can look, if they want, but the IT guy probably has better things to do. I am going to get one with my Sprint plan and start using it. I probably spend 50 a week on internet in hotels.

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
I have internet to go with my SP for when I travel. Glad I posted that info. Don't want yall getting in trouble because you used the hotel's wireless :O

this is extremely interesting, wow, talk about learning something new everyday. thanks for sharing that useful tip, i think that tip could work for anybody and not just escorts. like if you were camming and traveling, you don't need anyone else in your business.

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
I could understand where you have to sign in with your room number when using the internet, but when using a general password protected internet access point, everyone who uses that address has the same IP address, so I don't see how they'd be able to link it to a specific room number.
Also, a site administrator isn't typically someone who works at a motel/hotel daily-- that's contracted out from what friends tell me-- so they could conceivably see the sites visited, but I still don't think they'd be able to tell what room you're in.
However, all bets are off if you have to specify your room number, or you're at a hotel where they have different access points (because there'd be less rooms accessing each wireless modem.)

TG, you're my girl, but I'm going to have to disagree with you (just a little). I think motels are definitely know for stings and I personally think if a woman is advertising herself as "upscale" or whatever, it does look better to meet your client at a nicer hotel. With that being said though . . .
Every bust I've been aware of from longtime friends who were busted to those recorded in the local paper were upscale hotels: The Four Seasons, W Hotel, Ritz Carlton and the Swissotel to be exact. I don't know if you'd consider the Marriott upscale or not, but the one in downtown ATL used to set up stings on the regular. I was told by a detective it's because the nicer hotels don't want that kind of "element" on their premises and that it devalues their brand. This particular detective was the head of vice and in charge of setting up stings in Atlanta. (And no he never busted me or anything. LOL I had legitimate business with him in my vanilla life.)
So I guess I typed all that to say that IMO no hotel is 100% safe. I've always felt that the "better the hotel = the less chance of a bust" was kind of a myth.
ETA: The aforementioned busts were initiated by hotel staff. And no the ladies weren't meeting the guys in the hotel lobby or walking around in stereotypical hooker gear or anything like that. It was just nosy staff who may have noticed a lot of visitors and passed the info onto the police. The police in turn monitored the traffic and then made their move. One of my friends was not taken to jail but banned from all Marriott hotels for one year.

Re: Escorts and NoTell (H/M)otels (side note: How to bring up hot wax.)
I tend to stay at hotels with a the most rooms as possible. That way the staff don't remember me. If you want to work late, most of these hotels require you to show a key after 11 and some (ahem..Le Parker Meridien) after 9.
I did notice ,last weekend, when I had to stay in a smaller boutique hotel that the staff really didn't pay attention to anything. Nobody spoke a word to my clients. This was very small 180 room hotel. They were even able to come up with no questions late at night. I have had this same experience at another small hotel.
Where I live I tend to hear about a lot of busts at The W, too. They are set up as an outcall.
