Help Please :/
I am new to this site, just started it today, because I really really wanna dance.. A friend of mine and I went and tried out like three months ago, I loved it.. I figured if I was gonna do it, to go all out so I crawled on the bar and tried to do floor tricks n pole tricks. :DThen I ended up getting the job and she did not. Well I was suppose to start that week on a wed. N well I am all bout my family, so I told them n let's just say hell broke loose.. My husband, mom, n my dad all supported me but the rest not so much. They made me feel so horrible that I didn't go :( I ditched out.. Now three months later I am regretting it and I brought up to my family that it isn't that bad (the club I will b at doesn't take of buttoms n randomly does drug test.) Once I explained all that, they were more willing not to bring me down. So now I found this site, and I am thinking about trying out again but I am scared they wont give me another chance and I am very nervous for many diff reasons. One we live in a small town, 98% of ppl I know go to this club, and two I don't like my belly.. I am not fat, just have a lil baby belly with stretch marks :/ Thank you for reading my long ass post and hopefully you wonderful ppl can help me out on my care issue :)

Re: Help Please :/
You husband, mother & father all supported you... so who else's opinions did you care about?
Don't even worry about it, just go back! While I hate to say this strippers are known for being just about as flakey as they come. Management in this industry knows that, & they tend to give entertainers a lot of chances. Even the entertainers who get fired often get re-hired weeks later... sometimes they get fired/re-hired multiple times. Dancers will not show up for weeks/months & then walk back in like its nothing. I don't think that is good to do, & I suggest you act professionally, but my point is that I hardly think they will say that you can't be re-hired. They know girls get nervous in the beginning, so they tend to cut them extra slack. Just lift your chin-up & keep going!

Re: Help Please :/
Awww girlie I totally know how you feel, shit went DOWN when my parents found out I was dancing in december and it made me feel so bad I took a break for almost 4 months. The pain gets better after a while and your family, though they may not support your decision should not get to make it for you!! This kind of situation requires a lot of thinking on your part, and you have to decide if you can be strong enough to deal with knowing how certain family members will feel about you if you decide to dance. It might be better to just not tell the members of your family that are not so suportive, I think it will really make your life a lot easier!
