I'm with you. Its way confusing. Even after they've been sent to Payoneer it still says I have credits available on AW. I don't get it either.
Hi, Daily turnover can be worked out from here only
The history page shouldnt be used (if using it) as this will confuse you as the transactions dont relate to your pay. And trying to relate 2 unrelated things will give you a headache..
Your account balance may show credits but they are unrelated to you or your pay now as you are paid daily while the credits only leave the account once or twice a week.
Hope this helps abit.
Princess Jenny, I have a question. I wasn't verified by adultwork yet when I sent my information, and had a pending payout from AW coming. How will this affect my pay?
Hi, sorry to hijack your thread but i'm having a lot of trouble with Adultwork dailypay.. payments are getting later and later and have no idea when i'll recieve them! Am still waiting for my payment from yesterday and its 3:18pm now. Have to keep leaving work to check the bank as was supposed to pay a bill today.
Is anyone else having this problem? My bank has no record of a payment today so I don't think it's a delay my end.
Perdita
Oh sorry!
New to this site, I'll go back and check now. Thanks missy xx
Yes am in UK.. Dailypay was excellent up until a week or so ago, is now really unpredictable! I'd rather have known in advance there would be delays, as it was I had to join up and hunt down a thread in here to find out what was happening and still don't know if i'll get paid today.. I understand PJ is practically a one-woman business but credit card charges wait for no man..
PJ posted yesterday and emailed us all in advance to warn about short delays in UK bank transfers. At present PJ IS a one woman business! She is seeing the bank on friday and will have another update then :)
Thanks PJ, the bit about credits leaving the account once or twice per week makes sense - so although we are receiving money every day, it is not necessarily from *the day before*? What would be really helpful then is to have a way to work out exactly when the amounts are from, so we can see exactly how much we got after all fees, from how much we originally earned, and of course forecast and plan. Personally I need to be able to plan things and work out how much i need to earn in credits to get say exactly £500 in my bank for next week, and when i need to earn them by etc.
Just one clarification though - you say about credits showing on the history page as now being irrelevant... those pending credits are still pending though aren't they? that IS money that is still going to get paid to us (whenever that may be)? Silly question i know but it has confused me.
The money you get is from the day before. There is just no point looking at the transfers page - always use the turnover page or it just gets confusing.
When there is no delay you always get the amount made the previous day (til midnight uk time on AW) but PJenny does not take the money out of your AW account every day. PJenny uses DailyPay funds and then tops these up out of the AW funds at regular intervals, but not necessarily every day.
Just use the turnover page and do the calculation I told you about :) You get the right amount every day from the day before, but because of the way AW transfers the money to PJenny it's not going to be accurate to look at the history page.
The problem is, if you use the history/credits page instead of the turnover page, you will probably be seeing credits that you made the previous day (or even earlier) because they won't have been transferred to PrincessJenny yet. That page doesn't reset everyday. The turnover page starts at 0 everyday so it's accurate.
So, to answer the question - your money in your bank IS from the day before (when no delays) but that money won't necessarily have left your AW account and gone to PJenny yet (in fact it almost certainly will not have) so if you use the history page it's gonna be all over the place.
Thanks Becky. I'm not using the history page anymore. Just the one PJ specified - but my amounts do not correspond with what i earned before, unless the fees are VASTLY higher than 40 - 45%. Also I am seeing things like £3.15, £41.10, £1.40 all on the same day in different transactions... none of which add up to what i earned the day before (after fees). Also I am getting the AW email notifications of payment and the amount paid, but those are not the amounts in my bank.
:(
the email notifications are what will be being transferred to PrincessJenny - so they will be more than what you are getting.
For every 10 credits on directcam you should be getting £5.90. I'm not sure if this is right or not, but I think if you make money doing different services (phone, sms etc) they can sometimes all go in as different amounts but I'm not 100% - hopefully PJ will let you know about that.
Sorry you are having a problem with it :( All I can say is that for me, I know for 100% sure that the amounts I get paid are always right, and also that PJ is great about fixing any bugs etc so if there is something wrong, I'm sure it will be sorted.

Ok so here are the amounts shown on the turnover page since I started on DP:
14/05/2011 F 51.65
15/05/2011 145.47
16/05/2011 108.01
17/05/2011 227.80
18/05/2011 80.53
19/05/2011 69.76
20/05/2011 104.28
21/05/2011 22.26
22/05/2011 7.27
23/05/2011 6.98
24/05/2011 270.68
25/05/2011 21.64
26/05/2011 6.38
And here are the amounts I have so far received in my bank:
17 May 2011 £63.60
18th £136.38
19th £49.35
20th £11.31
21st £61.16
22nd £14.15 (actually appeared in my bank on the 23rd for some reason but stated as credited on the 22nd)
23rd £4.65
24th £3.65
26th two separate transactions marked "internal transfer" (??) totaling £171.31
Working this out it looks like i came out with 46% of the total credits I earned. The numbers are all over the place and my cut is much lower than it should be.
I usually work till after midnight so perhaps that throws the numbers off somewhat?
Maybe I am missing something but those numbers do not add up. Not for a second do i think there is anything wrong here, just that how it works is a mystery to me. I cannot plan how much i need to work to earn the amount i need, or know when to expect it by, which throws me off entirely. The fact that I am getting less than HALF of what I am earning is also horrifying.
PS Sorry for posting such an essay (and please excuse my shitty earnings - not put any effort into working this month at all, bad Katie, naughty Katie!!)
This looks about right to me in the main apart from the payment on the 20th. But, that could be because you used featuring? or directcam listing or whatever?
Also, don't forget you earn a LOT less for directchat - I think AW takes an extra 15% for this.
You don't say what services you were offering and how they made up the amounts.
but -
on 16th you got 108 credits
this was due for payment on 17th. IF it was all directcam you should have received 108 x 0.59 = £63.72. You got a few pennies less than this (£63.60) so I'm going to assume that either some of that was made by directchat or some was used on profile featuring or directcam listing - but you need to check obviously.
On 17th you made 227.89 credits
this was due for payment on 18th. If you used all directcam this would have been 227.89 x 0.59 = £134.40 - you were actually paid £136.38 on 18th so I guess you may have had a webcam booking or phone booking on 17th which made up some of the numbers.
On 18th you made 80.53 credits
this was due for payment on 19th. If all directcam this should have been 80.53 x 0.59 = £47.51
again, you got a couple of pounds more than that - so maybe some bookings in there somewhere?
you see how I'm doing the calculation? they all seem right to me except for the payment on 20th - so either check that you didn't use positioning or featuring or whatever on the 19th, or as PJenny to look at that payment again because it's sometimes possible for the system to miss webcam or phone bookings (also check there was no chargeback)
the payment you got on 26th is because there must have been a delay on 25th as you didn't receive a payment on that day.
So payment on 26th was for both 24th and 25th.
which is 270.68 + 21.64 = 292.32
292.32 x 0.59 = £172.48
you got £171.31 so again on either 24th or 25th some of your money (just a couple of pounds) must have been made through directchat or spent on directcam positioning or featuring etc
does any of that make sense???
help?
xxx
ps if you show me how you are doing the calculation I can try and point out any error. Looks to me like you might be trying to do a division in there somewhere?
x
Yes thank you, all of that makes sense. You have been such a help in all this Becky :D xxx
no worries x
15% is around average although its dependant on which country your in, whether you receive calls to a mobile/landline. Where the client calls from etc. I have seen the % as low as 7% and as high as 51% before.
I'm in UK and get calls on my mobile.
I'm not sure about everyone else, but they take .15 from me per min. You're not going to get the right numbers if you subtract a percentage. You need to divide the total by what you charge per min (my case .95) then times it by.15. Let me give you an example:
23/05/2011 23:37 Debit DirectChat (467601) Facility Fee, with j7 -4.82
23/05/2011 23:37 Credit DirectChat (467601) with j7 30.53
30.53/.95=32.14*.15=4.82
This seems to me to be the best way to figure out the directchat facility fee. If any of you want some help, feel free to pm me.
Also, I'm curious to know if the fee is different for others. I have these call sent to my Argentine voip number. If it's cheaper to have them sent to my Uk landline number then I'll change it over ASAP.
So can I ask why the rates change? They say quite clearly they take 5 percent, has that changed? How can we figure out what is due then? It becomes very confusing because sometime I find my pay will have credits that have not even cleared yet. So I am never quite sure what figure to go by. Are you able to clarify anything? I appreciate you have tons of shit going on but if at some point you could explain it it would be great. I am always lost as to what is actually coming. I have gone on the assumption for direct chat/cams I deduct 41% which is you and AW and 36% for booked. Is that right or wrong? Thanks in advance :)
just to make sure you know, we are talking about directchat (phone) not directcam (cam) the cam one takes 5%
Directchat ranges in %. Directcam is 5% though.
Yours end numbers are correct. For individual account checks you can open a ticket here
Thanks
