^ You're talking about the album version with the drum solo and vocal screams.....and the single version without it.
I have both - in studio quality MP3. PM me with your Email address and I'll send you a lossless file.
PussyinBoots that is very kind of you.
BringontheMen, you should tell him to get Traktor or Traktor Pro, or another DJ program that has the kind of graphic display that shows what the music is going to do (like get real quiet for 90 seconds in the middle of the song). I will never go back to a program that doesn't have this display.
I play Whole Lotta Love on a regular basis, and I just chop that right out every time. There's other Led Zeppelin songs that need the same treatment too. It's also great for chopping out those long quiet spots in a lot of techno songs that make them unusable in the clubs otherwise. Also great for cuing up songs.
This is one of the greatest songs ever and I have it in my iPod but never noticed that white noise until recently. I don't know why I didn't catch it until recently but it was probably because I was so used to it. A few years back I bought all the Led Zeppelin remastered CDs and picked up things I never did before. The white noise thing is common with a lot of the heavier late 60's music.
Thanks hun. I have now sent 'BringOnTheMen' a copy of the 1969 'Promo' single which is the 3 minute version - without the middle break of screams, percussion and fuzzy guitars you get on the album version.
It's a 'Whole Lotta Better' too.....(Oh Lawdy...did I REALLY say that..?!:D)
I have a very high quality remastered version of Whole Lotta Love that is 4:01 total length. I got sick of that long breakdown too. Feel free to PM if he still needs it.
