Re: thought i would share
i don't know, i was very confused tho when i saw this cuz i see Japanese porn all the time, so why would it not be ok to take nude pics and sell them?

LOL. And did you know that bukkake came about as a way to punish Japanese women for cheating on their husbands? Their punishment was to participate in bukkake and have a bunch of guys cum all over their face to make them feel ashamed. LMAO! :P
Re: thought i would share
One of the comments seemed to get right to the heart of the matter:
• “Cammi at 12:12 PM JST - 26th June
I agree with bobo. She didn't register her business so they couldn't take tax.”
That having been said, what year was this posted? The story says “Tuesday 28th June” but does not give a year.
Re: thought i would share

yuk!!! that would be a horrible punishment.ewww. i once saw this Japanese porno where a handful of guys would enter this room and there was this wall of girls with just they're butts hanging out and the guys would go up to them and just start having they're way with any of them and they had to get off before the wall closed in on them. it was weird..i don't know how any of those girls would want to volunteer for that, or they could have been put there for punishment as well. crazy laws some countries have.
Re: thought i would share
Japanese culture is always unique and always changing. Don't try too hard to understand it.
I loved that movie "Lost in Translation". It really captured the vibe of working over there, for some jobs anyway.
Re: thought i would share
The OP might get a kick out of my experience working in Japan. In the movie I mentioned there were 2 Americans that formed a bond. That was not an option for me but it didn't change the experience in any way. It was exactly the same as in the movie.
I don't know if I believe in existentialism but if I did then it truely was an existential experience. I would sit around wondering;
Why can't some Americans hold their liquor better?
Why are so many narcistic?
Why does everyone like their music so much?
Why are there homeless people in America?
Why aren't there homeless people in Japan?
Why do my employers treat me way better than Americans ever will?
How am I going to keep my job?
Whats wrong with me?
What led me to this place?
I never found the answer to a single question. I figured, enjoy it while it lasts because soon you'll be back in the shit.
Maybe I do believe in existentialism after all. I told my English professor that I didn't.
Re: thought i would share
i know i saw the movie, but it has been awhile. very interesting movie for sure. i have always been fond of Japanese culture myself, i love they're quirky humor and the bright crazy trends. (just watch a soda pop commercial and you will know what i am talking about, lol) but they are definitely a very unique society:)

I heard they started having big financial trouble in the early 90's in Japan. I was there about 5 years before so it must be totally different. There was so much money floating around in Japan in 85' it was a joke. You had to act like a pro to work in a club doing anything. It was a total mistress culture back then but that's probably long gone. I have no clue.
One thing that probably hasn't changed is the nite life. There's just so many things to do at nite over there.
There were a lot of things I didn't get to see. I never saw Mt. Fugi or the countryside. Never saw a show with the guys on those big drums. Never saw the sumo wrestlers.
Now I get it. I didn't ask. I should have told my customers where I wanted to go after work. I had to work 6 nites a week so there wasn't much time for much but still, I should have just told them.
