I'm speechless... that is just sad. I agree it probably is our industry that makes us more comfortable with knowing our bodies, but honestly everyone should know their body well enough that they automatically could identify their parts & know if there's a medical problem with anything on them.
i agree....i could totally pick mine out of a lineup, 100%.
Going to call my mom and ask if she could recognize her vag from a line-up.
Then in a day or so I'll send her that link to explain it.
Oh man, I feel a mix of hilarity and pity. I'm so glad I don't refer to my vag as "down there".
This was the highlight of my night... I may have just peed myself from laughter! Who hasn't used a pocket mirror to check themselves out at some point. KLG and Hoda are morons. I would never trust the wax lady to do a job good enough for me to not check afterwards.
i think it is extremely important that you know all of your body. like c'mon this is your body, why would you not want to know every aspect of it? it is just an example on how repressed any aspect of sexuality is to the norm even when it concerns your own body parts, i think it's just ridiculous!
Thats just sad. Like beyond...I actually have a "ew!" expression stuck on my face, really. For health reasons, how do you know if something is abnormal if you dont know what your body is like when it is normal. Something could be going on and you dont know about it cause youre afraid to look "down there" Goodness knows, everytime I take a shower I check my body out...its just reflex I guess.
And whats up with that I dont want to know what it looks like "down there" nonsense?! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the female form, and its not funny to me to be so ashamed of your own body you cant even look down after a wax?!. UGH! I hate stuff like this. Hate it.
And I know its not cause Im in the industry..though I do bet that people who are comfortable with their bodies are more likely to join the industry. I actually remember when I was just a kid and curious about my body....checking myself out with a hand mirror. I was like..wow...coooooool! :D
And I think I have a super awesome pussy...:D I think everything is just the right size and its pretty :D Shoot...give me 1,000 pictures, I can point out which one is mine.
God what a couple of dumb bitches.
this is sad though, and some women (especially older) really do think like this.. fortunately things are changing/times are changing-
but this reminds me of 'the vagina monologues'
in my opinion, every woman should read tvm, but they talk a lot about women not knowing about the female orgasm,
i think there was a woman that was interviewed that didn't have one until she was 80-
she just didn't know/it wasn't right
this is crazy- and things need to change

She kept on talking about her vagina as if it was some forbidden fruit that she couldnt look at, really?
I really doubt she even touched it with that expression on her face! I cant believe the woman beside her agreed. Even before stripping, I knew what mine looked like from front to back and side to side - every girl should!
