being a webcam agent/recruiter
Hi,Good day to everyone!
I am new here.Today is actually my first day here.for few weeks now i had been browsing through the forum board reading other members post,i like what i read which was very helpful so i decided to join so i could be apart of the community,so learn more.but i have few concerns about being a webcam agent that would like everyone input on it.
So i am thinking of being a webcam agent/recruiter to own and operator my own studio.but before i start i need a good site to be an agent for with less complications.i need to work with a site that doesn't offer models to sign model release forms.a website that will offer the agent a good percentage and not some 10% which really isn't anything.also easy sign up registration form for the models?yea you all probably thinking am looking for that perfect site, but am really not.i have tried imlive and it's too difficult getting my models to sign up..always a problem in the registration process like the ID file size is too large or they not receiving the coand long registration process.also you guys know of any payment method i can use to pay my models?lease not to forget a site with good traffic too.
Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
I am not speaking for everyone here, but I know a lot of the girls here (myself included), are not big fans of studio's and try our best to deter newer cam girls away from joining them, so your post is one of the first I have seen asking for advice on how to start one.
The best advice I can give to you if you want cam girls to join your studio is to give them a reason to make less of a percentage with you, either guarantee higher placement on pages, better support, faster payment, etc. Otherwise I sincerely doubt any of the women here will consider joining your studio, or give you advice on how to recruit other women to do so.
Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
well HONESTLY i was asking anyone here to sign up for my studio.i bearly even have one.i am a cam model myself for at lease 4 months now.but i am in the non-nude field and do better being there.it's just that someone got the idea in my head about the studio and i was thinking of trying it on the side.that's all it was.i don't know too much about so is why i was asking around.so sorry if i had OFFEND Anyone here from reading my post!
Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
Aaaaand with THAT attitude, you should just stick to being a camgirl on your own, not a studio. buh bye.
Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
Unless you are physically providing them a place to work with computer and cam and net connection provided, or somehow providing 24/7 promotion so that they make HUGE bank with back to back shows and never have to lift a finger to promote themselves, you have no business taking part of any cam host's money. I personally have and will continue to do everything in my power to inform new cam hosts of this fact and steer them away from these types of studios. I see no benefit to a host in joining a studio like that and I find it disgusting that it's even allowed.

Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
Agreed...not worth it.
A studio that is providing a decorated space for models to work out of, internet connection, and all the equipment (computers, cams, lighting) for those who for whatever reason cannot do it at home or provide it for themselves...that I could see would be a *huge* benefit.
And Im not talking third world country studios where they have these girls working crazy shifts for next to no money. Im talking...maybe someone who lives with their parents, or a wife/girlfriend that needs a job outside of the home to make money to be on their own, or a college student that lives in a dorm or someone with roomates....any situation where someone couldnt work from home under any circumstance could benefit from a set up like that...
Now if youre talking that kind of studio, then yeah, great for discussion I think!
But I kind of doubt it...and its really shady too that you are talking about not having them sign model release forms...what exactly is the problem with that if they are all of adult age? Not kosher...
Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
well i a lot of models i came across once they hear they have to sign a form they no longer interesting in the job...wow...now i wish i hadn't posted this here..seems like i offend everyone here just for asking a simple question, cause of what i was told..what a bite
Re: being a webcam agent/recruiter
You need to offer your models more services than they could get being independent. You have to work for their business. If they can't figure out how to get themselves registered, you need to do it for them. If they can't figure out how to make sales, you need to do it for them.
I own a business that develops adult talent for live performances in clubs and private venues. This takes time and your models may leave you if you don't offer them enough to stay.
At the very least, if they can't figure out how to get signed up, and you do it for them, at least you know they'll keep working for you as long as they are camming.
Like all things, to make money you must do work. Provide a service worth paying for, and people are happy to pay.
