There are a ton of spin-offs from CraigsList, & many are probably free. You might want to check DuttsList. Actually, google DuttsList because I bet it will lead you to a bunch of other places as well.
If you haven't already, make sure that you set-up a FaceBook account & lots of social networking stuff, those can help you attract clients to.
You could also see if there is anyone near you to do doubles with until you start getting reviews.
I'd also see if you can get onto The Erotic Review right away... someone is bound to "take one for the team".

Tease,
Why don't you sign up for daily pay with princess Jenny, cam for a week, save up ad money and start advertising. A friend of mine got started like this. Exactly. I advertise now on eros and backpage and I've been getting great leads and damn good clients. Marketing can only do so much. one thing I recommend not doing is skimping on advertising. Here in the Carolinas if you only have your ad on backpage the guys will not see you because they'll think you're a scam. However, If you have an eros AND backpage ad then they consider you a backpage advertiser and not a backpage girl. Backpage is almost like craigslist here but for ladies like me it's just extra exposure. ... for example. ;)
Yup.
That list is for camming and not escort advertising. Any escort that advertises on those sites will be broke and sorry in more ways than one.
I would not recommend eccie to a newbie because it is a bit brutal. I would recommend posting ONCE a week on TER discussion board until someone takes one for the team. I also recommend bidgdoggie and datecheck :-)
Also, even to advertise on BP, though there are cheap bp girls and cheap guys trying to find a deal, if you market yourself as anything but cheap, then those kind of guys are going to pass you by and only a guy who can afford you will contact you...with the except of LE...lol but thats where screening comes in. In hindsight, Im pretty sure of it that most of the replies I got were LE, but heat is massive here in SoFla and they use BP almost exclusively.
How you market and present yourself is important...none of this "SeXXXy Azz 4U bb 2NITE!" stuff, or pics of your butt bent over in the bathroom mirror along with half hour rates stuff...thats BP girl.. See what I mean?
Also, it does take time still..unless I guess you are BP girl and the rates are so low that a guy figures what does he have to lose ..its going to take time, guys will check you out and mull you over and google you etc etc until someone finally takes one for the team. Its not like you post an ad today and be on a date by tonight sort of thing...
..and if that happens to you, I will be so jelly, so dont tell me :D Seriously though, I first started posting on BP, then on several of the sites TG mentioned, a local hobbyist forum and finally Eros. It took me about 2 weeks before I got my first date, and that was only because I ran a "ridiculously mind-blowing I will never be that crazy and charge that little again" special.
Remember, with Backpage if your area is really busy your ad will be off the front page within an hour. Ads in NY are ten dollars for BP and it just isn't worth it.
I agree with this. Be careful with BD though... I've heard things about the guy who runs it.
Datecheck is hard to get on but totally worth it. Even though I only do striptease, I still had a lot of clients from there contact me... including people out of state! I now have a list of clients I can see when I travel, so that is a big bonus.
