Anyone working from Malta? I ll move there ... next week. I wonder how it ll be there.
We just got back from a trip and already I'm down for another one. Has anyone been to Rome? I really want to check it out and I might be able to do it around Christmas. What's it like?
Who wanna go work to Spain? I`m bered here. (Alicante province) Would love meet other cam girls)
^^ I live in Spain!! BCN area though.
Have you moved there? How is the internet connection? I have been thinking of moving there as well but Im worried about having fast internet.
PGD defo go to Rome or even better is Firenze!! Firenze is so much fun, so gorgeous and I will come visit you!! :D
I'm in Malta right now, internet is good, I have from Melita 500Mbps/20Mbps, unlimited, for €49.99 (month-on-month basis)
^^ OMG this is way better then what Im getting on the continent!! Is there actually an internet line to your house????
yeah, with a router 2.4GHz/5GHz, TV channels included (Italian, Maltese). If you know an address you can ask an operator online on melita.com if it's available there
I'm leaving London in a few weeks, maybe scandi will have better net my landlady here drags her feet (including ever being on time to collect rent waiting daysssss) and didn't upgrade me from 0.74mbps upload to 10 until 4 months after I moved in. Glad I paid her the final month. Nords, please have decent net. I always go to nomadlist to check.
Thought I’d bump this and share...

If camming is legal there (which I haven’t been able to find any info on), I would be extremely tempted to move.
We need a thread like this one for those of us still located in the US right now but want to find cheaper living somewhere here.
Ayyeeeeee
So I ended up choosing the Balkans for 1 yr. Literally just left 2 weeks ago. Internet was great, food, culture. Kept my apartment. Back in London until Spring. Internet is SUPERRRR fast at this hotel. It's not cheaper at ALL but I love this city. The Balkans were really cheap/affordable so glad I moved there and will be back in Spring. I should've worked more but don't regret not not working. London will DEF make you werkkkk haha.
^ That's how I feel about living in NYC or LA, they both make you hustle your ass off to stay afloat & enjoy life there :)
Try an instapot. It changed my life. I mean, I have my own apartament, but since I got the instapot, my oven and my stove are kinda retired :)))
You can sautee the food in it, before you put it on pressure cook and everything cooks faster. For example, a chicken soup can be ready in about 30 minutes. There are endless instapot recipes over the youtube.
And the device itself it's cheap. About $100.
I lived in the Bay Area for a few years until I got sick of seeing my whole paycheck go to rent and groceries and taxes! I moved to Texas in January right as AB-5 hit California. I still miss the bay dearly, but I am LOVING the price point of living here. I still want a middle-ground between CA and TX, so I'm looking into Colorado or somewhere east in the next few years :)
Nah,
It's a 4 star with a restaurant. It has a mini fridge that they fill with snacks but you're on your own. I'm next to 50 upscale pubs and plenty of restaurants so it's not necessary to cook. However I do miss cooking for myself so I'll be out of here in the next few weeks and in my own apartment. I only eat 1x a day to watch my consumption, though. Try eating 1x a day or stocking up on salads. Do you at least have a mini fridge? You can get a ton of microwave foods and save money that way.
Yep we have a microwave downstairs in lobby area and a fridge in my room thankfully. I have been trying tobonly eat 1 huge meal a day to save on $$$ & it worls so far unless i get munchies later in the night. Im not crazy about microwave food tho lol it doesnt usually fill me up the same as a good cooked meal would.
I've always thought Ireland is really beautiful, and have seriously contemplated relocating there for awhile... but the logistics are a lot to think about... I have a house and am not the kind of person that can live out of a backpack.... if I'd had the gumption in my early 20's I probably would have tried this then!
Not to threadjack this topic but if you are away from your "homebase" and staying in different states or countries, can you use an accountant in a different location to file your taxes? Basically can you file your taxes from where ever you are at the moment for your home base?
living in cancun now, if it wasnt for covid i would be back in my favorite paris apartment with crazy fast fiberoptic on vacation for 2 months.
i am planning to visit -- athens (less than 500 euros a month for a furnished airbnb with fiberoptic), rome (also cheap) ect.
i plan to travel to 2 places per year.
the longer you stay on vacation the cheaper it gets.
its cheaper to stay 1 month in sicily during the summer than it is to live in the usa.
my costs are so much cheaper.
food in europe costs way less, transport is way less ect.
my airport in cancun mexico has flights to europe for 700 $ round trip .
i wish covid was over so i can travel around like i used to.
I'm dying to move to my true home in the Canary Islands but I couldn't stand living under martial law :(
I've not given up on my dream but it's definitely been sidetracked by this year's debacle and as soon as it's possible again I'm out of England for good.
