Definitely bad when the customers are more vocal about site glitches and customer service.

Did you guys read the Twitter page for Streamate? They posted that only top performers are loyal to the site. WTF? They clearly don't give a shit about anyone they think isn't a top performer. I have never seen a more unprofessional response in my life.
^I just saw that. How unprofessional. There are hundreds of girls that I see online every.fucking.day for hours at a time who definitely don't qualify as top performers. If that doesn't count as loyalty then maybe I don't know what that word means.
edit to say, SM followed me but have only RT me once and I've tweeted my link quite a few times. Idgi, but I never had a twitter tantrum over it.

As to the tweet about only the loudest having problems: Just because I am not making noise about the problems I'm having (Gold Shows not working, customers booted out of privates, video lag to the point where my free chat customers got to see my pussy for a short time at the end of a private) doesn't mean I'm not having problems. It means that I know it's pointless to say anything and I don't want to jeopardize what little support I get from SM as it is.
I might not be a top performer but I am not super-cheap and still have guys who are willing to take me exclusive multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day, at my healthy price. I know SM isn't going to really care if I leave but at this point its are acting so dismissive of its hard-working models that it seems stupid on my part to keep adding to their bottom line. Sure, plenty of people will replace me but they are going to have the same problems down the line, too.
Guess I have to go buy a dry-erase board and get ready for MFC!
Wooooooooooow, they are seriously unbelievable! They feel that top models/performers are loyal but ummmm some of them are leaving the site. They don't even seem to care that "top performers" are complaining. Why would "top performers" or anyone be loyal to them when they aren't being loyal back? Being able to pay your bills is more important then loyalty. This is work/money not a friendship/relationship. I'm sure they can understand that wanting to be able to pay bills isn't personal right(insert sarcasm).
I wouldn't worry too much about one persons opinion. It is a opinion and not a fact of the site.
Just keep doing what you guys do best and that is CAM. Dont let a few words bug us. I see "top performers" that are hardly online as many of us ARE ONLINE DAILY (cough cough) and they still have those top spots so it definitely not about loyalty, maybe its about who................. I want to say it so bad but this is a open forum where outsiders can read ;)

The beggars and the terrible types of customers I can deal with. However, the glitches do make me want to look elsewhere. On Friday, I did a few successful Gold Shows. You'd think I'd learn my lesson because I lost TV GS money because the site kicked me off a few weeks ago and it did it again! It stopped streaming in the last three seconds of my show..... GRRRRR. I have an i7 and am hardwired with awesome internet. I took the weekend off and really hope the things are better tomorrow. In the meantime, I've been putting more clips up for more passive income while I sleep.
I was on this morning and made $10 in two hours. Lots of freeloaders. My video was fine. It's never been this horrible! Anyone having the same issues this morning?
I thought it was to green.... , cant reveal names bc of the rules but I thought it was in reference to her issues. I saw that and just let it bleh. SM has a way in general to make performers feel less adequate than what we are, such as cammodel of the month, top performer stats and all that jazz. A model is a model. All of us are different than others and none are the exact same. I learned a log time ago not to sweat twitter bullshit (any of it) down to how SM ranks models. I try my hardest to stay away from negative bc I will stoop down to their level.

I don't like them making any performer feel inadequate. It takes a lot of guts to be a cam performer and they should acknowledge that. I could care less who the top performer is because she or he alone is not making the site money. We all put money into their pockets no matter what we earn. We all bring different experiences to their customers and they are rich because we all bust our asses. It wasn't just the Twitter postings, it's the whole attitude in general. They act like we are disposable, but so are they. Just like they can find a new cam model, we can work on a different site. Cam sites need to appreciate their performers and remember no one goes to a cam site to view the owner, customer service or the tech guys. They are there for the performers and they need us.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of referral program on sm? I had someone sign up as a new model today, but we couldn't find a place to input that.
