HD Live Streaming Problems
My Answer:
Always use the HD Encoder when you stream with your HD webcam. Why? Because if you don't, your video feed can suffer from lower hd video quality than a model using the encoder and your feed may freeze here and there. Which can make you look odd when it freezes your frame for a few seconds every few minutes. If you have a HD webcam, I really think using the HD encoder is best. At least for me it is.
Problem:
Live Streaming Video Look Choppy Or Keeps Freezing Up Every Few Seconds
My Answer:
For this problem I had, I had to buy a new computer. I bought a 6 GB RAM desk top and it was fixed. Now, if you already have a desk top, you may not need a new computer. Just a newer and more updated video card. Which is the fraction of the cost of a new computer. I originally had a Dell laptop and for laptops, replacing the video card just wasn't an option. At least not for me. For the cost of getting a new video card for my laptop, it was a better investment to just get a new computer. For live streaming, I think desk tops are best, but I do love laptops for the convenience.
Problem:
Voice Echoing Issue
Answer:
When I first started Streamate, I had never been a cam model before and never really used a webcam for anything. I just didn't know anything how to be a cam model, what to use for hardware, what to do in shows, etc... I made many, many mistakes. I watched my video feed from a separate computer to see how I looked on cam. Lol! My monitor just couldn't fit the entire feed on the encoder next to the Streamate live show admin on my computer screen. I made the mistake of leaving the volume up and on the 2nd computer and since there's always a few seconds delay in live streaming, the microphone on my live streaming computer would pick up the voices that were coming from my second laptop and therefore create echoes of whatever I was saying. To make it simple, just keep the volume off on the 2nd computer if you use it.
I have come into problems with almost every technical issue possible on Streamate so I am glad to help anyone if they need it. I hoped I have helped somebody with any of these issues. =^.^=
