"God" vs. "Free Gay Porn"
The following page shows Google statistic by state, as to which states have the most searches for "Free Gay Porn" and which states have the most searches for "God". Interesting which states are among the leaders for "Free Gay Porn" searches.

Chuckle worthy but, not proof of anything.
Re: "God" vs. "Free Gay Porn"
I don't know how many people are into the math but this graph is designed to make things appear to stick out that don't really stick out. If the X and Y axes started at 0 like they should, you'd realize all these points are in the top right quarter of the graph and would represent that the searches for "gay porn" vs "God" are roughly equal. In other words, imagine the graph were 4 times this size and this graph represented just the top right quarter. It's done like this to magnify what really are subtle differences from state to state regarding the 2 searches. Maybe the fact they are searched fairly equivalently is worthy of note though.

Someone drew a chart but is it true?

Word a question carefully, carefully select a location for a suitable demographic..........
You can have any "statistical result" and boldly state is a "true".

Well, as a mathematician, if you ask me what is one plus one, I can ask you what you want it to be.
The people graphing this designed it in such a way to make very subtle differences seem significant. Its not the results as much as its the way they scaled the graph to accomplish that. If it was presented properly, the graph would be 4 times the size it is but this graph would represent the top right quarter, in other words, add three empty boxes the size of this graph, one underneath it. Then place the other two empty ones to the left of those 2 and that's a more accurate representation than is this graph.
Re: "God" vs. "Free Gay Porn"
I find this amusing but not particularly surprising. You mean a lot of homophobic Republicans are actually gay?!! *gasp*
Re: "God" vs. "Free Gay Porn"
One Kool aid drinker was of course going to voice support.
Re: "God" vs. "Free Gay Porn"
What about if someone was looking for free gay God porn where would they be?

Probably shit out of luck.

I understand what you are saying, but those "missing" quadrants represent quantities that are negative along either the X or Y axis, or both. You cant have less than zero states doing anything, so drawing those quadrants on that graph would be pointless... wouldn't it? Most graphs I see in the news, textbooks, etc. only show that upper right quadrant because it is the only one that is relevant.
Not being a smartass, just wondering . . . .

I'm not suggesting we add the irrelevant quadrants to the graph. I'm observing that they elected not to include the origin (0,0) in their graph. The numbers should run from 0 to 1.0, not from .5 to 1.0, so what they elected was to show you was the upper right quadrant of the upper right quadrant. If by some chance there was a state so extreme in one direction or the other that there was zero participation in one of the 2 activities, there is no way to show them on this graph. i hope that explains it. In other words, I'm finding fault with them not numbering their axes 0 to 1.0, choosing instead to use .5 to 1.0, I'm not looking for quadrants II, III, and IV from a traditional graph.

Damn, I can't believe republicans are so cheap.
