Zombaio problems. Zombaio not processing rebills?
Hiya everyone,
I was considering adding Zombaio to my cascade or using it for a different project. But there's been some drama on GFY (another webmaster board) over the past few days.
It appears Zombaio is upgrading their system and in the process they stopped processing rebills and webmasters also reported that joins dropped off. Worse still, they only informed customers about the upgrades, not that rebills weren't being processed.
Now they have started sharing information with their clients and this is the latest information but it isn't exactly encouraging...
Dear Customer,
We have during our acquiring platform switch been running into issues where transactions were scrubbed (via the anti-fraud system) to a level that we could not accept. This also effected the rebills which resulted in a huge denial in the renewal authorization. Due to this, the management ordered to stop recurring transactions and re-run them when the scrubbing parameters were fixed.
Our tech department are now preparing the testing platform for a production release which will happened this night, after that we will start running rebills.
We expect the rebills we have in batch, which is a lot of rebills, to run for at least 2 days.
Important:
If you want us to charge your member for June and July, you need to create a ticket with subject REBILL and write YES as body. That way we will charge your members twice with a couple of days delay and also send them an explanation to why they are rebilled twice to avoid chargebacks. Default action from our side is to rebill now, and then continue as normal depending on the rebill cycle on the pricing configuration.
We do apology for this, and we hope to still have your confidence while we together move into this new platform which from the first time was implemented and designed for a higher throughput.
You will see in the release note when the platform is set in production tonight.

Most members aren't going to like being charged twice in a short space of time because the processor messed up.
So do I cross Zombaio off my list completely?
Thoughts from anyone currently using Zombaio? I'm very suspicious of any business in the adult industry and this just seems like a huge red flag.

Yes I got that e mail last nite as well....
Since my site is not a members site and guys get billed when they buy the cam show and that s it, I m not sure if that affects me ( at the moment) but it would my site was a members site.
I got my first wire on the bank from them yesterday and it was fine, and the next one I m suppose to get it on July 4th ( which for us here in the US will be the 5th I m sure)..
But what I had was some guys telling me they were getting an error when trying to purchase a show.
I contacted support via e mail and live help and they me there was nothing wrong with my site or anything...
The guys who tried to buy didn t send me any screen shot either so I m not sure if they were getting error or they just changed their mind and didn t wanna pay lol
But now that i read that e mail i m starting to think maybe they were right, they were having, a hard time trying to pay.
If that was true, I lost a couple shows I could have sold which sucks, specially with the lil money i ve been making lately, anything helps..
So like I said,if you have a members site, I would wait a bit longer and see if the isssues r solved, I can imagine guys would get super upset if they get charged twice...
I ll let u know how things go or if they fix the issue.

Hi Bella, I was a little upset considering I just launched my member site last month, and was suprised to have 0 rebills, then I started seeing declines like crazy and had to send my guests elsewhere to pay. I knew something was up!
I have had zombaio now for over a year for service bills and they have been great.
I wouldnt write them off yet, but definitely keep your eye on the ramifications. Im sure gfy members will post as they arise.

I have been hearing from a few of my friends that run sites, especially from SMW Admin that ZOM has been a pain in the ass lately with their things.
I don't know for sure - but I know he kept on their ass and I know when he threatened to leave they all the sudden fixed everything LOL
