Police Raids
Has anyone been working when a club was busted or raided? What was the experience like? Were the cops cool about it or a-holes? If the area requires a dancing permit, did they check for them? How did the people in the club react? Do the customers just leave or do they get busted? What about drugs? Do the cops search for drugs? Did anyone get arrested? What did they charge them with?
I'm curious about any (new) experiences re. this old post (copied & pasted above) about club raids - here's the archive link:

Re: Police Raids
where the state of AZ is concerned, they share a 'quirky' definition of prostitution ...
(snip)"13-3211: Definitions
For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
5. "Prostitution" means engaging in or agreeing or offering to engage in sexual conduct with another person under a fee arrangement with that person or any other person.
(snip)
8. "Sexual conduct" means sexual contact, sexual intercourse, oral sexual contact or sadomasochistic abuse.
9. "Sexual contact" means any direct or indirect fondling or manipulating of any part of the genitals, anus or female breast. (snip)
thus if two dancers are on stage at the same time, and one dancer happens to touch the other dancer's breast ... while customers are tipping at the stage rail ... both dancers can be busted for prostitution !!! This 'quirky' definition of prostitution often results in prostitution charges being leveed against dancers during strip club busts in these states.

Re: Police Raids
I've been lucky because I haven't been at a club during a raid. The closest I've come is clubs I worked had raids on days I wasn't there.
