Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
I'm not going to lie. I make much more money by overcharging men if I know I'm not going to get caught. I'm not guilty about it nor I see any immoral act with it.
If I do get caught, I act dumb and didn't know it. Of course I let them win.
It's how I make my money. Anybody the same?

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
I don't overcharge. I just ask for a tip cuz I'm fucking cute. ::)
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
Nope, I don't over charge. Unless I'm given a reason to do otherwise, I treat others how I would want to be treated.
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
If the guy was annoying, difficult, or grope-y, I never felt bad about charging an "Asshole Tax".
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
when i mean by overcharging is when a guy says, "how much do i owe you?" "how many songs was that?" i say more than i'm supposed to. i don't change the price of a lap dance. i just quote more songs.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
Cutting VIPs short is a good tactic. Like doing 9 minutes for a 15 minute VIP, 20 minutes for a 30 minute VIP, and 40 minutes for an hour VIP.
I've never had a guy notice and they usually deserve it because they are repeatedly trying to push my boundaries. If the guy is a regular (rare for me) or is friendly and respectful then I don't cut the VIP short unless I need to make more money quicker.
It's a cutthroat business and a full contact dance fully nude after Deja Vu's cut is not enough for me personally.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
because dancers consistently undervalue themselves, with the help of clubs who like to give discount prices for OUR work, i don't think "overcharging" is really a thing.
$20 for grinding naked on your dick? girl, "overcharge" all you want. there is no way it comes close to "evening" the score.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
I hate when my club does 2 for 1 lap dance specials. I'm pretty new so I hadn't thought of it but I'm gonna tell guys its 2 for 1 for the club but I still need my 40 fuckin' dollars.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
No, but I ask for tips at any given opportunity. Our VIP waitress often promises an extra 5-10min if they buy a more expensive room but rarely gives it (I kicked up a right fuss when they started giving extra time to a regular of mine without asking me if I was okay with it)
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
Occasionally ill quote more songs, but I don't do it regularly. And I ask for a tip on every dance.
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
How do you guys ask for tips? Just out and say 'can you tip me, please', or you have more catchy phrases? I'm a newbie, so forgive me if that sounds like a dense question!
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
as long as you tell them the price up front, its not "overcharging" IMO. its the price you are willing to entertain for and the price they are willing to pay for entertainment.
at my current club the set up doesnt work with overcharging... i demand tips. although at clubs were dances were 10$, fuck that.. i generally charged 20 or if a customer only wanted to pay 10 i would make sure that their dance was what i deemed a 10$ dance to be (i.e. lame enough to make them regret not spending more).

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
well, you are providing a service, so tipping should be customary. i like to receive my tips up front and i will say just that. "the bigger the tip, the better the dance".
for twenty dollars, i will give you twenty dollars worth. which is not much. most of these men are not new to strip clubs. they once paid +$40 for a no contact dance and now new dancers feel "guilty" for asking for tips for a $20 nude, two-way contact dance.
there is nothing to feel guilty about. it is YOUR show. i assure you, if you think you are not worth a tip, you will not receive one. if you do not ask for a tip, it decreases your likelihood of receiving one. and if you are willing to work for no tips, then why not just apply at dsw and call it a day?

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
Most of us are independent contractors & have the right to charge whatever we want for our services unless we signed away rights (i.e. Deja Vu or VCGH contracts). Do I feel bad for charging what I am worth? No, if I did I would charge less or not work there.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
I used to overcharge, often. It was either demanding a large tip as an 'asshole tax' for problem custy's or tacking on an extra song or two to a VIP if I had been in the back with a guy for a while. I never overcharged by a ridiculous amount, just enough to offset the 20% cut that my club takes from VIP's. My club counts dances closely.
I noticed that when I charge for the exact amount of songs I danced and playfully suggest a tip, I usually just get a few dollars or nothing at all. There is a significant difference in my earnings. I work in the kind of club that caters to travelers and there aren't a lot of regulars, so many of the guys I dance for I'm never going to see again. I've never had a guy notice that I tacked on an extra $20 - 60 to the bill. They're happy to pay and we part on good terms. Doing this and not asking for a tip works way better for me VS being honest and asking for a tip, because they have no idea in the first place that I'm doing it. But if i leave the tip up to them, they won't give it to me. So it's hard to be honest when I know I'm losing out :(

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
it's the same for me. i dont like asking for tips. i dont like asking people for money ever. so i overcharge instead not letting them know.
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
pretty much the same for me, as stated above.
-
Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
I cant where I work now because its all paid through the house, but in other clubs I have cut dances short if I think they wont notice (ie. really drunk or never been there before).

After the dances, if he hasn't paid up front, I'll say "It's $X plus whatever tip you'd like to add".
Ill say before hand "Dances are a minimum of $X dollars". Emphasize minimum.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
i dunno, i don't complicate things. "dances are $__ plus my tip" though i imagine i'm not nearly so polite...

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
Why would a stripper NOT set their own prices? Clubs can't enforce it. You work for yourself and rent space. We pay them remember?
I never "overcharge". I up sell. ;)

thanks for the advice, I tried this last night and it worked great! The guy was only going to tip me $10 for over $200 in dances. I tacked on 2 extra songs and still asked for a tip, he paid and tipped me $10 ::) don't know if I will make a habit of this but it worked well for me last night.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
I think most girls can agree that they don't want customers to come in and tip $5 for $150 worth of songs, so who cares if those guys don't come back. We have to work together to promote clean dancing and good tipping so we can get things back to how we want them.
Overcharging or cutting VIP short doesn't bother me, those guys are rude and they deserve it. If a customer is respectful then I will never overcharge or cut a VIP short, point blank.

Re: Does your Hustle include Overcharging?
At the club I was working at, no one tipped/asked for tips, because it was expected that we give a certain type of dance. I would ask nice guys for tips and they'd always oblige (generally 20%) but the rest of the assholes didn't jive with that tactic. Once I started a VIP with a fat turd and I said, if you tip me well, I'll dance really well, and he got pissed, demanding that the dances should only be 100 dollars, and stormed off. A lot of guys would say "a tip for what?" or give me 1 dollar just to be fuckfaces.
But, when I travel, I will certainly be asking for tips, mostly cuz the clubs I'll be at will be liquor clubs. Drunk people who are in a good mood generally give up money quicker in my experience because they aren't deeply thinking about how much their bank account is going to hurt later.

I used to do that too, if the guy had racked up a lot of dances and obviously didn't remember how many we did. I'd say we did 2 or 3 more than we actually did, and he had a good time so he didn't mind or notice. But, that was only with certain types of guys and experiences and I couldn't do it with our regular VIPs cuz they knew it was a flat 100 dollars.
I think I just need to get bolder. I have a problem with worrying they'll reject my suggestion and then assuming I'll get REALLY pissed if that happens. So I try to save myself the trouble. But fuck that. In the future, I'm really going to just ask for it and not care about the consequences.
