small talk
I tried searching through the forums but didn't see anything relating. I just started dancing and I have a hard time trying to figure out what to say to a customer. So it is kind of awkward and then I try to ask if they want a dance and usually get a no. I need help with figuring out what to say to customers.

Re: small talk
1. What's your name?
2. Are you local?
3. What brings you in tonight?
4. Did you enjoy the weather/event/convention/concert today?
5. Do you have friends meeting you here?
6. Have you been here before?
7. Do you have a specific entertainer here that you come into see?
8. Is she here tonight?
9a. If no to 8 - start working your sale!
9b. If yes to 8 - I'll let you two catch up. Would you like me to check back in with you later?

Re: small talk
Thank you, I try that though. It seems like most of the guys are not big on talking, so it makes it harder for me. Another thing is I don't know how to work the people that don't speak English. Should I try to learn sexy talk in other languages? would that turn guys on, or just creep them out?

Re: small talk
First, these are questions that do generally produce quick/short answers, but that's what you asked for is "small talk". These can be asked it a series though one right after the other & most help you to understand what to sell him. They answer questions about if he's more likely to have money, to spend money, etc.
Learning other languages is never a bad thing. Some girls like to do the "sexy talk" in other languages, but most of the time the types of things they say are not what I would say.
If you are brand new then you ought to look into Strip & Grow Rich. The program is moving to a new set-up on Kajabi, but it's been around for over a decade & used to be taught as a multi-day convention in Las Vegas. The current owner runs in-person bootcamps a few times a year now.

Re: small talk
Name?
From where?
If they or you are not local, quick banter about there (Denmark? Oh cool! I love Danish pastries!)
Have you been here before?
No? Has anyone explained how it works here? (mention drinks/dances)
Yes? Thats great, so you know what drinks and dances we can offer!
Gauge the reaction and make a sale. Simple :)

Re: small talk
Oh and if you're struggling for conversation subjects while in VIP or something, try to steer the subject to travel or food. Everyone has something to say about that (holidays past or future, cooking, dining out....)
