"Type" of Club for a New Girl
From what I understand, there seems to be clubs that are good places for new girls to start out at, and clubs that a new dancer should probably stay away from. I am wondering if there is just a general set of rules that sort of helps you know which clubs will be best to start at, or if this depends more on each individual case (type of girl, dancing style, location, etc)? /:O
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
I've always thought clubs that are good to start at are generally mid-level clubs, on the smaller side if you can find one, or you can start at a bigger club, but work the slower shifts until you're more comfortable. The reasons for this are that you will be more likely to get guidance and help, and be treated nicer at a smaller club. And mid-level is good because the high-end clubs tend to also be very competitive, hard to get hired at, busy, and you are basically expected to kind of know what you are doing already, working there. No one will hold your hand like they might at a smaller, more down-to-earth neighbourhood type bar, and therefore the experience will be a little less frightening :) You want to avoid the total dives though because they're a bit gross (in general, not every single one), more girls doing extras, that kind of thing, and honestly, you tend to get a lot more crazy kinds of girls at dives. Basically, you should be looking for a bar that you will feel comfortable in, and has nice staff, and decent dancers. Worry about finding a $$$ club later. If you post where you are located, some girls might be able to give you advice on the clubs in your area, or you can look at the reviews section too!
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
I think it really depends on the girl. I started at one of the more difficult clubs in my area-cut throat girls and complete nudity all the time. If my friend had started there, she would've quit right away.
Everyone is different. Some people need to build up to large clubs with hundreds of girls. I know I dislike clubs like that, even now. If I had started at a club like that I would've left. I prefer smaller clubs.
Everyone is different and can handle different things.
As a general rule though, a club with nice managers, nice girls, and little to no extras would probably always be best to start at.
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
The most important thing is finding a club your comfterable at.. I started at an extremely high hustle club, very intense, because when I went In to talk to them about auditioning I got the best vib, everyone was rlyyy nice... Yrs I made shit at first because I couldnt hustle like the other girls but I was comfterable there which was important so I could learn to hustle and not worry about fending off passes from a crazy manager or something, and plus now when I go to a lower hustle club I have an advantage because I have worked with the best and can hustle like a pro
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
I started at a mid level club and made a fool of myself on stage every night. I learned how to set boundaries, be competitive and look less spastic. I eventually moved to a gown club with great $$ potential and lots of competition. I'm glad I got to that club with experience and confidence otherwise I would have been toast.
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
Thanks guys! Right now I'm in Florida but I really want to move out of the state. I don't want to go too far so I'm thinking somewhere in the south maybe Ga? I'm going back to school but I don't want to be in a college town. Maybe just a normal city with a mix of business and tourist or visitor types. A lot of my family lives in Fl but I want to go somewhere new to work and take classes.
What exactly is a mid level club? Is that just a club that is not as popular and huge as a top club but it is still "nice" compared with a dive? I have been to several clubs as a customer with friends but I'm pretty sure most of them might have been bigger or high end clubs. Also what is the difference between a gown club and a regular club? I don't think I can ever remember going to a club where the dancers wore gowns. Some had short sexy dresses on but not a full blown gown.
A lot of people on here have said they felt weird dancing on stage at first but then again it seems like most of the money is not made on a stage show? Is that normally the way it goes? Ive done other forms of dancing but I feel like this type of dance is not the same. It is slower and more freestyle? I LOLd at the spastic comment because that is exactly how I think it would be for me. I'm nervous because I know it is a requirement to at least be able to do a stage show to work.
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
Certain clubs you can make most of your money from stage tips, but not all are this way. Most likely you will get almost all of your income from lap/table dances.
Strip clubs are really different from each other, even in the same city. There is nothing like going in to see the place and how it operates, or just working there and figuring out what is best for you.

Giving this a Bump..this is where I'm at, trying to figure out where to work..mainly there's no mid-level clubs though (Chicago area)
Re: "Type" of Club for a New Girl
Im having the problem right now at starting at a bikini club. I thought it would be smarter because I wouldnt be so nervous about being nude and its a little slower in old ATL but it's incredibly catty and slow. While the flow of people who come in is nice there is decent almost everyone has a "regular girl" that they come to the club for. I think for me i should have started at a bigger club.
