FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
So I do cam right now (dance rarely) and I'm deciding to do FBSM! I've researched on here that the screening isn't as intense as doing escorting but have you ever pat down a client? I'll be doing incall and was wondering:
-When I ask them to get naked for the massage, do they to that in front of me or the bathroom? I wouldn't want them to hide any weapons from me
&
-When they are getting dressed; do I step out of the hotel or just stay in the bedroom while they get changed in the bathroom; like I said, just don't want them hiding any weapons on them.
Do you have any game plans if something goes wrong?

Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
Ask them to "get comfortable". By that point your "donation" should be where it needs to be and he will undress. I offer to hang up their clothes, but most times they will just stick them wherever. I've never pat down anyone. Are you really scared of guns?! Why don't you try working for an agency for a month or two? It seems like you are very scared and a bit naive. You have jumped around a lot this year with the adult industry. Just to let you know, none of it is easy. Body rubs get boring, you have to deal with guys not willing to screen and keeping supplies up. Clean towels, drinks, etc.
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
I'm not scared; just was wondering and wanted to be educated in this field (you guys weren't pros over night lol). I'm actually pretty serious about the body rub thing more than camming (done hours of research & working on pictures+website). I'm planning on doing it full time.
So they get undressed in front of you? Don't want to make them feel UNcomfortable.
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
You should really try working with an agency. Even if it is for a week.
When I first started doing FBSM I always smiled inside thinking how the guys who came in could just get undressed so easily in front of me. You know us girls! We would want a towel, robe or at least a fig leaf! Yes, the guys get undressed in front of you. Unless you are offering them showers. Some like to take a shower before.
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
I would not suggest patting anyone down. I hate to say this but if they are in your room alone with you and they have a concealed weapon patting them down is not going to help you.
The best way to protect yourself from LE or from a dangerous client is not to let them wind up in your room in the first place. That's what screening is all about.

I agree with the others, do not try to "pat down" your clients. That screams LE, and they'll just end the session and go find someone else, not to mention you'll get some pretty bad reviews.
I'm not sure about screening being less intense. When I did body rubs I screened just as thoroughly as an escort would. It paid off because I never had any run ins with LE and ended up some great clients. Sure, it turned off quite a few potential clients, but it's my safety we're talking about!

What I did was lead the client to the massage room and offer them a bottled water. Then I'd tell them to get comfortable and that I'll be right back. That was their cue to leave my donation out in plain view and get undressed. When the session ended, I would offer them a shower (most would accept). I'd start the shower in the adjoining bathroom, collect the linens and go into the living room and wait for my client to finish. Then I'd walk him to the door.

If you're doing this out of hotels, you can let them get undressed in the room while you excuse yourself and go into the bathroom. You can greet them in a dress or your street clothes, but then change into lingerie in the bathroom. If you do your sessions nude, then you can undress in front of your clients.

Make sure you're in control of the session at all times. If you do not allow mutual touching and your client becomes very grabby, immediately stop the session and gently remind him it's against the rules. I usually did a 3-strikes-and-you're-out deal. Second warning and I'd let him know that the session will end if it happens again. I never carried a gun or anything like that, because more likely than not I would end up with it used against me. I did however take some self defense classes. I'm happy to say I have never been robbed or attacked, but then that might have to do with my screening process.
Since you're new to this, try to read as much as possible. This includes body rub ads on Eros, Backpage and any websites you can find, even if means you looking outside your local area. Don't blatantly copy, but try to model your ads after the ones you think are the classiest, well written of the bunch.
Good luck!
ETA: I agree with Strippername's posts. You could really benefit from working at a body rub studio at the beginning, even if it's only for one month. I worked at a studio a couple months and was trained by the best therapist there. My first few sessions were doing a four handed massage/double with another girl. It really eased my fears, and again I learned a lot. By the time I decided to go indy later I was a well-oiled machine. :) I'm unsure if this is an option for you, but you may want to take it into consideration.
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
I agree with others here who have extolled the virtues of working with an agency to learn the ropes a bit. I am a long-time customer to a couple of gals who, while they have been indie for quite a few years, both started out working with agencies. My ATF in particular started as an indie and then went to work for an agency for a while. She learned so much about the logistics of making it all work and also benefited form working for a while with other ladies and with an agency owner who put the safety of his ladies above the money. Eventually she went indie but with a much wiser approach to the whole gig.
Good luck and stay safe!

Thanks you guys!
I would really want to try a studio but the most I see are ASIAN which I'm not I'm thinking that would probably be a problem. :-\

You're right about the majority of studios being Asian but there are some with American ladies -- they tend to be more discreet than Asian spas (who sometimes place their addresses right on their ads). Keep looking. Check out every body rub ad in your city with non-Asian women. Chances are there's at least one studio. Most of them are always hiring, so it doesn't hurt to call.
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
^All I can say is that technically a cop can call an escort, pay her, sex her up and then arrest her.
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
^^^What Aria said, they sure can. If and when you decide to venture out on your own, you have got to know how to screen! I am more worried about getting into trouble than anything else. I am worried about my safety too, but the thought of getting in trouble pushes me harder to be extra careful when screening.
If you come across somebody that doesn't feel comfortable with the screening process, let him go. Your phone will ring again. Don't feel intimidated to relax your rules for anybody. It's kind of like the cam guys "show pussy bb, then I take you private" Make your own rules and stick with them. Cops are sneaky fuckers, and they'll try anything to set you up for their trap. Don't do it!
Re: FBSM/ESCORTS: Have you ever pat down your clients?
WTF kind of nonsense question is this? Pat them down? I would love to read that review? If you are worried about your clients carrying weapons then you do not screen or even attract the right clientele. *DEAD* I just can't...
