Help me make a diet and meal plan to get "fitness model" body
Hi ladies, I can't find a good personal trainer in my area and I'm looking to get a fitness model body. right now I'm 5'3" and 130 pounds. I'm not unhappy with how I look, but I really want to get cut and lean and get that "fitness model" look--not like a body builder, but have muscles and low body fat percentage and still be curvy and feminine. I will attach a pic of me now, and a pic of what I want to look like--my inspirational picture.
I have no idea what kind of diet and meal plan I need to go on to get this kind of body. I know that goals need to be realistic and also have a deadline to be more likely to be successful... so my goal is to have this body by May of next year. My problem area is definitely my stomach--that's where I store all of my fat.
Suggestions? On where to start then where to go from there?

strength training, LIGHT cardio, high protein, whole grains, lots of water

I think its definitely achievable for you... you have a pretty good body already and looks fairly athletic. Ive seen girls training at the gym for months and their bodies never seem to change but they seem to have no natural muscle or something???
Anyway I would do high intensity cardio 4-5 times a week and weight training 3-4 times a week.
Diet will be the most important part... At first I would just eat generally more healthy. Cut out all drinks except water and coffee if you need it. Eat lots of veggies. If you are gonna eat fruit eat it in the morning only. Don't drink juice unless its veggie juice... its got tons of sugar! If you must eat carbs go for the brown rice, wholegrain bread and wholegrain pasta but try to limit it. Eat lots of chicken, turkey, fish, pork with the occasional red meat. Eat tons of salads.
Then about 1 month before you wanna reach your goal.. cut out all sugar... literally all of it. So you will only eat fresh veggies and meat. No sauces... nothing. veggies, meat and water. You will look like that. Its pretty hard to maintain that look 24/7. Body builders only look the way they do during a competition. So I would get the base you want and then if you have an event or photoshoot or something you need to be super-defined for then do the really strict diet.

I know a great website that has helped with my weight loss. Its called Sparkspeople.com. It makes a meal plan, fitness plan based on your goal and chronicles your weight loss and it is FREE

miss1dancypants, I've looked at your pics & this could be done for you but there would be a lot of work. What your asking for is a high maintenance, high performance body & you are not there now. The good thing for you its all there, you just need to trim & polish your structure. I've seen woman that needed to add weight & that is the hardest to do if your metabolism is to fast.

First of all, more important that the weight (judging by the 1st pic), IMPROVE YOUR POSTURE!!!!!!!
A good posture will give the illusion of a flat tummy.
Second: you really want to look like the second picture?! Unless you had been born with tiny bones, it doesn't look good on everybody. However, having a flat tummy not only looks good, is also very healthy. A flat tummy doesn't have to look like the one from the second picture. I found another good picture, and it looks more to the shape you're aspiring to have. http://images.askmen.com/photos/vida-guerra/65132.jpg
Again (judging by the 1st picture), I'd say to follow what Jessie says; she's right in the way you should workout and eat in order to archieve your goal.
Last but not least; the body you will end up having will depend a lot on your body frame You seemed to have a bigger frame than the model from the second picture, that's why I mentioned the body frame; because no matter how flat, toned your mid section might be, if your bones are too big, you will not look exactly like that picture.

I'll be the token person saying that second photo in the OP is photoshopped to hell. There are fitness models who do look similar but still.
Anyways, Check out http://www.muscleandfitnesshers.com/
I consult that when I'm bored with my routine or a new tennis competition is looming and I need to rip up my shoulders to play harder
But I agree with the others, it's ALL diet.

There are SO many awesome resources out there to get you started. Working out is definitely important, but it's your diet that will make or break you. And the thing is, there is no surefire diet for you...it all depends on your particular body and how it metabolizes food. You have to find out what works for YOU. For instance, in order for me to really lean down, I have to cut all carbs (except maybe a piece of fruit a day) - but I know other people who can stay lean on what I consider a high carbohydrate diet. I want to beat those people up...
Be careful with information on the net - there's a lot of great information, but there is a ton of bogus bullshit, too. Talk with a knowledgeable trainer, or pick up a couple of books that are specifically geared towards diet and exercise to achieve the fitness look.
And, fwiw...unbeleavable knows a LOT about this stuff :)

I still honestly think the first pic is attainable for you. Ya the second ones are and ull get to that stage first but you keep on training hard and eating right and you can get to the first pic. Like unbelievable mentioned, you already have the base. I can tell you have good muscle to start with. Have you trained before? I think you will be surprised at the result you can achieve. Don't sell yourself short on body shape excuses. And I don't think training hard and eating a strict diet is hard at all. You just have to want it. Eventually you won't wanna slug on the couch and eat junk. A personal trainer can also help you with ur goals and diet.
