1. You must be really hot to charge $800 an hour.
2.) Without review - expect business to be a bit slow.
Why would you even respond to a guy that requests sexual service via email?
Are you trying to get busted?
So you don't have any reviews? I agree with YourRoyalHotness, it's going to be very difficult to command that type of rate without reviews. I don't know your financial situation, but depending on where you're located you may be able to get an appointment here and there, don't don't expect to be busy with that rate.
Is there any reason why you decided $800? I think you should pick a rate where you're comfortable with that you know you can get a reasonable amount of business. There are escorts in Southern California who are smokin' hot, well reviewed who show their faces and charge $450 an hour.
Think long and hard about this. If you decide to adjust your rates do it soon since your ad is less than 24 hours old. That way it'll look like you made a typo, rather than you just lowering your rates a month from now because the phone isn't ringing.
for legal reasons, I personally dont respond to emails littered with sexual acronyms. I'm selling my companionship, not a list of acronyms. If youre asking for 500/hr, the clients contacting you should know better.
Reviews do rule the cali market, so its a good idea to make your presence known on TER.
PS: $500 isnt exactly playing it safe. $350 in major cities is mid-range, with $500+ being high-end. Of course, get as much as you can but make sure your rates are comparable to others in your AND with your look.
These girls are correct, if anybody eludes to sex in any way at all, do not see them. When I receive an e-mail like that, I'll respond by thanking them for their interest, and go on to tell them that I offer companionship services only, and not to be rude, but if I can't understand their e-mail I'm not sure we would have too much to talk about on our date...then I wish them luck in their search. I act dumb in a passive aggresive sort of way, always making sure I get my dig in w/o them knowing, lol. Then they are put on ignore. I never respond back after that. Most girls would probably say to not even bother responding to them at all, but I do that to cover my ass. I don't need some asshole writing on a board complaining for all to see that I was terrible at getting back to him, he's emailed me 10 times and I never respond ::)
Two major points I agree on:
Research your area to see what the going rate is...factor in that you have no reviews and until you have some, the guys you see are essentiall TOFFT. (Taking One For The Team)
If a guy mentions sexual services, alludes to it, uses acronyms etc...I personally do not respond. I have it in my FAQ on my site that I will not respond to emails like that. Only if a guy is very stupid or LE will he ask questions like that...so I dont want to meet him and its not worth my time to even acknowledge him.
Anyone with access to a review site or message board presumably does this as a hobby and will know better than to ask questions like that, so I can safely assume none are going to start blasting away that I never got back in touch with him after asking me if I DFK, DATY/DATO, Asian and Greek finished off with a BBBJCIMNSNQ!
^That last one hurts my eyes, I don't even understand it! I spelled "alludes" wrong too, lol. It's late and I'm tired...but getting back on track, just do whatever is comfortable for you OP. I'm very sarcastic and don't suffer fools gladly, so I like to get my jab in and leave them wondering "did she just insult me?" without really knowing for sure. That's just me though. BlkSharpie is absolutely correct, the ones who ask those types of questions either by e-ml or phone don't waste your time with. I have actually had guys who do this as a hobby get mad because he's a member of (board name here) send me a 2nd email asking why wont I see him? He read my review and it sd blah blah blah. I ignore that one. They should know better, but some people just don't have any common sense. Sooo, even if he turns out to be legit I would never see him no matter what. That's up to him to figure out why.
I knew Id mess it up...lol! Its BBBJCIMNQNS:
Bare back blow job, cum in mouth, no quit, no spit
Its an honest to goodness hobbyist acronym, but not a very well known one.
Ive pretty much decided..if an acro is that long, I dont have to know what it is, I dont do it. :D
And yeah, I have had guys on my local hobby board write with ridiculous "I saw your review and it said you do blah blah blah, I want to make sure that you'll do it on our date too."
To which I say out loud "I know not this date you speak of!" while I hit delete and move it along. Foolishness.
"BBBJCIMNQNS:
Bare back blow job, cum in mouth, no quit, no spit"
Wow that's a mouth full! No pun intended :)
^^ HAAAA!!!! Isnt it though?! lmfao
Exactly! I've been seeing escorts for a long time and picked up street walkers before that. The problem is a lot of other guys have as well. When a hooker walks up to your car window she pretty much quotes her menu right off the bat to get you interested and to make a quick sale. This is also why hookers get busted...
Any guy who has been around for a while knows that you don't ask about specific services in an email or phone call. The newbies show up on TER all the time asking why girls are not responding to their emails and this is quite often the reason why. Even acronyms are not acceptable. Everyone knows what FS, BBBJ or DATY means so trying to tell a judge that you didn't just isn't going to fly...
I HATE the stupid sex acronyms. While attending a TER party a couple of years ago some weirdo walked up to me and immediately launched into, "Hi, do you ABCDEFGHIJKLMONOPQ...?"
I understand that client wants to know what may go down, but that's not what I'm selling.
I said, "Dude, what on earth are you talking about?" and hid behind the biggest man I could find. A client wrote a review about me a couple of months ago (against my wishes-- i dislike reviews) thank god he was mature enough to keep the acronyms out of it.
congratulations, teaze!! i'm about to put an ad up on eros as well, and i'm nervous! i can't decide if i should do it in my city or travel to the next big city over and do incalls for a couple of days.
are you getting more responses after changing your rate to $500?
