Cam guy using my email to post ads
So OK I got this in my inbox:
The following ad(s) matching your email address were found at backpage.com
To POST/EDIT/DELETE your ad(s), click on one of the following links:
DON'T DELETE THIS EMAIL - as you'll need it if you want to delete or edit your ad(s) in the future.
Thank you
backpage.com
It would seem someone has taken information from my profile and placed an ad using my email address and photos. So far the ads has been placed under the escorting tabs. Been lucky to remove some. But if i had not got the above email I would not of known.
I very rarely get AW prepaid bookings. I got one Monday from a new guy. He was a silent one yet i got some bad vibes from him. As always was asked if i escorted to which i said 'no'. Soon after he signed off without a word. Found this to be unusual as most guys are very chatty on prebooked sessions.
I can’t put into words how I feel right now cos I so mad! As i write this i am still searching google to find anywhere else this Muppet has placed my email address.
Has this happened to anyone else???
Re: Cam guy using my email to post ads
I haven't. How'd he get your email?
Re: Cam guy using my email to post ads
Hang on...
Sounds like a phished e-mail to me.
Notice that you have to POST it to Backpage....
DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK. When someone looks at your IP - it's very easy to get someone's e-mail from an IP period....and if you click that you may be at risk of giving up the information.
On the other hand, if you know it's not phished - the ad won't be post till you click the link and hit POST. So, really - it's just gonna send stuff to your e-mail when he does it - so it's really a laugh for anything else.
Re: Cam guy using my email to post ads
It was a webcam prepaid session. Which took place on MSN. The ADULT WORK prebook sessions work like this:
1. customer makes booking
2. I get sms telling me i've got a webcam/phone booking for x amount of time at O' COCK time from customer
3. I go to bookings to accept or reject it
4. customer confirms booking and my email address is shown so he can add me on MSN/YAHOO for the session to take place
As I said I don't get many MSN/YAHOO webcam bookings any more just direct cam/direct chat. I have for a long time wanted to disable the webcam but it doesn't allow it.

Yes you can disable prebooked webcam.
Edit your profile, go to the Webcam tab, checkmark
DirectCam Settings
DirectCam Only: Disable Pre-booked Webcam
