i think that shit looks photoshopped!
Wow! I've never seen anything like that on the front before...on the back, sure, but never on the front. And going all the way up the neck too...that's just freaking me out.
I've seen it (well, on TV) getting done on the back but never the front.
I know they're surface piercings, but the jugular is in the neck. You don't want to put anything pointy near that!
As Sia stated, the clamping and lifting of the flesh would make it obvious if a blood vessel as large as the ones in the neck were in the way. Obiviously still very dangerous though, so a piece like this should only be done by a highly experienced piercer who specialises in surface piercing.
As for shop job, I can't see the actual piercings well enough to tell. But seeing as corsets are play piercings and typically don't stay in for more than a few hours, they could be real... Maybe...
I know there is no way the vein is in any danger, but it's still pointy things in the neck.
And that's unsettling.
I don't have a problem with people expressing themselves, but I always cringe when I imagine the piercing getting caught on something and yanking the piercing out. Fingernails down the blackboard, man. Ugh.
