We survived eating keto at a Mexican restaurant tonight. We had the waiter take away the chips and salsa immediately, then ordered some awesome fat-bomb fajitas (peppers cooked in butter, bacon, carne asada...the works) but without any of the usual beans/rice/wraps on the side. The waiter seemed amused at the whole spectacle, but it worked great.
Now that we know that is possible, time to tackle an Italian restaurant without cheating the keto beast.
BTW, I lost 4 lbs in a week, hubby lost 7. This bacon cleanse is working.

Been doing a sort of Keto since new roomie moved in, no carbs, grilled burgers last night veggies on the side, put cottage cheese and Worcestershire sauce on it, salad. pretty good actually! Lots of pasta including angel hair in cupboard that looks abandoned... :-(
We tried Keto pancakes today for lunch...those weren't pancakes. Not horrible though. Our cupboard is looking the same, literally 90% of what's in our pantry is no longer useful to us. We got a pile of half-done boxes of cereal. Same with about half the freezer. We've got kids, but they want what we're eating and not anything conventional any more.
keto seems really popular lately, i need to go on some kind of diet but im vegan and vegan keto seems realllllly limiting

Been following the Zone Diet. Down 10 lbs since 5Jan! Boring diet though.. 4 ounces of Chicken, half a cup baby carrots, half a cup applesauce, and 9 almonds for lunch and dinner every day.
It's working though.
A vanilla flavored protein shake, raspberry Greek yogurt, a spinach leaf salad, a handful of almonds, and beef stew with carrots and onions in it.
Keto chili tonight in the instant pot. Canned tomatoes, tons of chopped leeks, and stew meat, and lots and lots of pepper. With sour cream it balanced back out and worked awesome.

Went to Cracker Barrel yesterday and had breakfast for dinner and even had a dessert. A smores pie something, I forget the name of it. It was so good!!!
I've been too relaxed about my diet, I must be okay with myself. I'm not even going to punish myself for being weak.
I baked some cookies with a gluten free mix from heb, they are good, I also had some red potatoes salsa, rice and green salad sounds weird but was good.

Brown rice + chicken breast i made then some chipotle lake sweet potatoes salsa type thing I microwaved from Jaime Oliver. Was low cal and actually good.

Did you make the coconut milk ice cream? I just ordered an ice cream maker off Amazon specifically to make vegan ice cream. I bought 4 big cans of coconut milk today (2 light and 2 "extra creamy" from the Spanish grocery store I just discovered).
On a separate note, I ate some cheese today that was left over from super bowl and my stomach is super hard and distended (been Vegan for awhile and regret it ALOT)
I have been fasting so hard that I got lightheaded and ate the cheese like a dummy instead of, say an apple...

Carb free pancakes (we call 'em "poopcakes") consisting of flax seed and eggs fried in coconut oil, topped with real butter and fake sugar-free syrup, served with very real thick-sliced smoked bacon. We're getting the hang of this keto thing.
20 lbs gone in 30 days off the hubby, but I seem to have hit the plateau for weight loss. I did drop 3 sizes though and have a lot more energy now, so there's that.
omelette with green pepper, onion, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese, raspberry Greek yogurt, and Italian wedding soup so far. Water all day but at this point I'm getting so tired of drinking water because that's what I drink all the time. I'm going to buy some sparkling water.
