^^I love bread..with EVO, Balsamic spice...so good but moderation & timing for me:)
^ It makes me foggy-headed (and I don't have Celiacs). I literally plan my bread consumption around my need to use my brain (I eat it about once a week). It's not a sensitivity I noticed until I cut it out of my diet and tried to add it back in. Yow!
Strange, may be the yeast. Do other Carbs make you feel the same?
^ Nope. Only bread, and generally only fluffy bread (so wraps don't make me feel that way, but dipping bread in EVOO or similar will mess with my brain and even my eyesight the day afterwards. Classic gluten sensitivity symptoms. I noticed this after I got really healthy my sophomore year of college...I started eating less sugar and fat and added lots of 13 grain breads to my diet. The entire first semester, I could hardly even think. Research and elimination diet pointed to gluten. And the longer you avoid gluten, the more sensitive your body becomes to it. Crazy!

^^ I've never experienced any of those symptoms, but the only bread I actually enjoy is pita. I love it for wraps but mainly for hummus.
Turkey leg

Shitloads of rice, beer, fish, and veggies in Japan!
This place is making me never want to touch anything nonorganic again. I already ate very clean but here my eyes and skin are glowing and I've lost fat in random lingering places. I didn't need to lose weight but I just look more...proportional. And I feel great.
^Do you live in Japan? Are you dancing there? I'm intrigued!!
Nah, just a vacation...I'm in the sf bay area.
Japan has crazy social rules and I'd imagine dancing here would be...interesting. Lol
I'm not sure if prostitution is technically legal here but I walked through the kabukicho (sex district) yesterday and it's def offered. Think theres a strip club in Roppongi (gaijin 'hood) w more foreign girls but haven't checked it out.
Today I had rice balls, sashimi, unidentified veggies, spicy yam, soy noni latte, sake, coffee jelly.
Small bowl of cheerios w/ almond milk.
Banana, soygurt, strawberry, blueberry smoothie.
Chia seed kombucha.
Broccoli quinoa soyrizo stir fry.
Packed for work tonight:
4 veggie wontons w/ sauce.
Banana.
Raw almonds and cranberries.
After work:
Tempeh and kale stir fry.
Vegan rocky road ice cream!
Man I eat a lot! Haha mostly tons of small portions though.
This thread has made me a bit interested in the paleo diet.
I'm vegan now, but it really sounds neat. Why can't paleo's eat beans?
I might try this someday, but the last time I ate meat I gained over 20 pounds after being vegan for 8 years. I don't want that to happen again, heh...
1 banana
1 wawa cappucino
currently munching on salad with romaine lettuce, tomatoes and chopped up grilled chicken breast
Can anyone recommend a good low calorie Starbucks drink? My favorites are the Iced White Mocha with half the syrup and no whip and the Caramel Macchiato, but they're both too fattening.
I drink a tall americano with 2 pumps vanilla. I ask for room and add a touch of whole milk.
I drink chai lattes w/ soy. Never tried a "skinny" one.
I'm doing a pole recital this Saturday, but I've been training for it for weeks now. Today, I did a session in the morning, so it wasn't an intense training day for me. I'm listing what I'm eating today, which has been a similar pattern for a while.
Breakfast: coffee w/ tiny bit of almond milk & splenda.
plain greek yogurt w/ fresh strawberries, a few almonds, some dried cranberries & a sprinkling of organic granola.
water
20 mins of cardio & half hour of stretching and core workout.
water
banana
40 minutes of pole practice
Vanilla muscle milk, water
On my way out to run errands
banana
some almonds
mozzerella cheese stick
water
come home
horchata
ground wheat/rye cracker w/ almond butter and bit of honey
water
dinner
lentil soup w/ added broccoli (carrots & onions in soup) & sprinkle of feta
2 slices smoked salmon
water
craving: Ben & Jerry's half baked ice cream
This has been my diet but usually more greens for a while now. I eat a lot of bananas, carrots, almonds & apples because they are easy to transport and to digest. Drinking a lot of muscle milk to keep my energy up for training, work and to make those damn bruises heal faster.
I've actually lost fat while eating so much. I don't really count calories. But since my dad is a diabetic and my blood sugar has been on the high end of normal, I try not to hit up the ice cream so much. Also, high cholesterol runs in my family. Mine is on the high end of normal and I rarely eat red meat:-( I do tend to put feta on everything, so I may start seeking out some soy cheeses or vegan cheese alternatives. Otherwise, ben & jerry's would be a staple of my diet:-)

I'm planning on making chicken marsala and broccoli for dinner, but our "dinner" is at 4:30am when he gets in. We're generally awake from 3pm to 5:30am.
