so hard to land a client! wtf?
ugh. my ad on eros has been up for almost a week now and still nothing. i mean, i'm getting emails, but nothing much worthwhile. a lot of guys will drop the ball after one response, and a lot of guys seriously can't read. i send them my screening form, and they reply with only a couple fields filled out. or they clearly don't read my ad all the way through. "come 2 my place in 1 hr?" no. my ad states i need a timely notice to ensure my availability. so far nothing very serious or legitimate. i'm not being too picky, am i?
also, somebody posted a forum topic on TER wondering if i am real. they said my ad was too well written for a newbie. sorry i understand grammar and sorry i did my research before getting into this. (and yes, i responded saying something along those lines with less sarcasm.) ugh. they also posted a tineye.com link to one of my photos. i used images from an adult-orientated site i modeled for, so now a link to my clear face unblurred and uncropped is on there. cool.
AND one of the club regulars from the strip club i used to work at found my ad and somehow recognized me. i haven't decided if that's good or bad yet.
AAAND, on top of all this, i have a restraining order against a stalker. he found my ad (of course), and not only is he now contacting me and violating the order, he's also threatening to email screenshots to my parents. so i've been dealing with THAT (yes, police are involved) all week, too.
ugh. words of encouragement? advice? this whole escorting thing sounds damn near impossible for me at this point. however, i'm not giving up. thanks for "listening".

wow-poor you, that's all I can say
Re: so hard to land a client! wtf?
Remove the modelling pics from your ads ASAP. Use new self-taken camera or even good cell phone pics if you have to until you can get new pro shots. You need to sever the link to your unblurred pics & real model info immediately.
If the stalker contacts your family, say some escort stole your adult modelling pics and used them in her ad. Knowing you were an adult model might be easier for them to swallow than you being an escort.

i just sent a message to TER asking to remove the thread as well as delete my account. my parents know i was an adult model. he's really just ruining my life. he's probably on this forum right now... :'(

Don't use the same usernames/email addys on websites.
Start fresh. Create a new (fake) you using a new name, new pics (wear your hair up or differently in pics, cover any small tattoos with clothes/positioning)

Yeah, I didn't know this but you can take a picture and do an online search for it and it can turn up any online profiles that use it. So, I have to take completely new pictures for my potential camming debut since all my good ones are online related to escorting *sigh*
re: camera phone pictures. Be sure to turn OFF your geolocation on your phone which is what helps you get directions and find place to eat near you and stuff if you have a smart phone. When you take a picture on your cell phone with that and the geolocating is on, it embeds your location in your picture information, so anyone can pull up where you're at plus or minus like twenty feet. Not so big of a deal when you're at the beach but seriously fucked up when you're at your daily coffee shop or worse yet, at home.
