mentor or other newbies in detroit?
hi, new here & seriously considering dancing (topless) - & excited at the idea... but of course, i have questions... specifically re: the metro detroit area & some (what i would assume 'normal') newbie reservations. the forums are great, though! i've spent much time reading through them with a great deal more yet to discover, but i would LOVE to have someone local to chat it up with. i have questions for the experienced but i'd also love to chat it up with someone in the same boat as me & maybe go through the steps to attaining our 'dancer' status together (ie hit up amateur nights together, share/compare, etc)? i'm 32 (not just saying this, people usually guess i'm 24-27), married (no kids), bright, confident, SICK of office jobs that pay crap (ha!), & i LOVE to perform (albeit i've never been on a stage naked ;-) anyway, if this sounds like you, pm me?? or say hello here, that's cool too :-)
Re: mentor or other newbies in detroit?
I'm late, but I dance in the metro Detroit area. Any specific questions you have? There are a lot of clubs to choose from and you can make decent money. Unfortunately, the Detroit area has a lot of extras going on (blow jobs, f*cking, etc) which makes it harder for us clean girls to make money but as long as you hustle and are good at what you do you will make money. I have never done an extra and never will, I work at a pretty upscale club where I know for sure there are extras girls working and I still am able to make several hundred a night, even in the slow months. I'm still a fairly new dancer as well though and I started in July. Summer isn't busy around here, in fact the slowest time of the year just ended so things are starting to pick up.
Re: mentor or other newbies in detroit?
i probably have a million questions, actually ;) i guess i am just hesitant to jump right in because i really, REALLY don't want to get mixed up with the 'wrong' place. i'm not looking for upscale clubs just for the better $ factor, i'm just moreso hoping to navigate around and away from the really low-class ones. i'm sure there's some trial & error involved there, but like you, no WAY am i into the 'extras'.
you started in july, have you only been with the one club? plan to stay?
