Pale (ivory) foundation that looks ok in blacklight?
My foundation looks PURPLE under intense blacklight. It always has, but for some reason I was never self-conscious about it until now. It's starting to embarrass me! I'd like to find a brand that doesn't make me look like I'm wearing a mask.
I've tried Everyday Minerals, Bare Minerals, Dermablend, and now a Covergirl cream. All purple. My skin tone isn't great and I get acne so going bare isn't an option. Product suggestions? Any other ideas besides tanning?

Old school liquid covergirl doesn't glow. They evenhave one for clear skin that helped me not have acne when I was a teen.

i agree^ i cant wear liquid foundation either. one of my friends swears its amazing, but i think her skin is naturally real dry. so eh maybe it works for her. i normally wear covergirl foundation thats in that blue compact, with powder over it and even though i wear the second lightest shade i never noticed a glow in black light. ?

Do you use covergirl powder over it? Maybe the powder is masking it so it doesn't glow? I don't use powder but this is the CG I'm using right now.
BOTM does the Illamasqua creme foundation or powder have pretty good coverage? I read some really black and white reviews...either it was too thick and pancakey for the reviewer or too thin and didn't coverup. And do you know if Sephora stores have samples that can be used for color match and testing the thickness? I've never had a reason to visit Sephora before and don't really know what to expect from them.

yeah i do use powder over it. if i dont use powder my face gets shiny . the makeup BOTM is recommending sounds awesome. since im not dancing right now. . i dont spend much on makeup.

Grr I want to try Illamaqua so bad! None of the Sephora's here in Minnesucka carry it. They don't even have it at the Mall of America store. Booo...
I do hope you post the pictures. I am kind of excited to see.

Ooooh have you tried any of Make up Forever's foundations? They work great for me!
Re: Pale (ivory) foundation that looks ok in blacklight?
I use Makeup Forever HD in 110 ($40 at Sephora). Lancome offers good shades for light skin as well, but it just didn't set well on my face, probably because I have naturally oily skin and live in a very humid climate. Makeup Forever is marketed as having been developed with strong lighting in mind and it looks even better if you get their finishing powder.

It is the WORST. The only 2 foundations from drugstores I use or recommend to my clients are Almay and L'oreal.
