I can sleep 12+ hours if left to it. Other times I'm total opposite end of the spectrum, insomnia for days. Insomnia is how its always been- the chronic sleeping may have been an underlying help issue. Either way, sleep is not my friend.
I would get nothing done without my energy drinks. I live on them I am on the go so much. Now if I could turn all that energy into converting time into pvts I would be set. lol
I sleep maybe 5 or 6 hours a night and without chemical assistance the next day I can barely function most days.
I don't do drugs, but I am on diet pills that are pretty strong and loaded with different natural energy boosters.
Totally would not recommend that to most people, but I am a single mom, camming, work a day job and attempting to go back to school, so for the next couple years that is what will help get me through.
I take 1-2 days off a week from camming and on those days I completely crash and sleep for 12-13 hours (my son doesn't take naps and is only 1 1/2 so he sleeps about 14 hours a night, lucky boy....).
Six hours is my magic number and I can't sleep till after 6 or 7am now which gets pretty severe at times and drags out till after 10am if I'm anxious about something. For those of us that can't seem to fall asleep before 2 or 3am and blame it on insomnia, it's actually a disease called Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome so read up on that sometime.
We've got a fancy disorder, :D
I'm actually pretty surprised by how many of us have issues sleeping!! Usually I get 6-7 hours and find that that is a happy medium (over 8 hours and I feel exhausted, funnily enough). About once a month or so, i will have a day where I sleep the entire day. As in, I will go to bed around midnight, 1am (the usual time!) and sleep the whole next day, just getting up once or twice to pee, drink water, etc, and into the next night, and then get up at 7am. So I'll go to bed on a Saturday night and wake up on a Monday morning....I dont know why I do this, but it just feels so good!!
I used to have issues with insomnia...tossing and turning all night....aaaand then I moved to a place where weed is legal, and the most common thing in the world. Now I keep a few joints in my medicine cabinet, and if I'm unable to sleep, I'll just grab one, have about a quarter of it, and then I'm off to dreamland in under twenty minutes...bliss!!
Vent session: I'm so pissed at myself right now. I finally found a schedule to work and make my goal, but 2 days in a row I over slept. I tried to stay up one time but fell asleep a couple of hours before the schedule and woke up around the worst time for me to work. Then it happened again today. Gaahhh! I'm so pissed. I fight whether I should stay up until its time and work the schedule then sleep, or sleep and try to wake up in time for my schedule. So now, I'm about to be a crazy insomniac until the end of the pay period and try to fix my sleep habit before I mess up again.
My sleep schedule is anywhere form 5-8hours on most nights and if it is that time of month it could be more like 8-13hours or more * Hate It *
I try to be in bed by 2am though sometimes I just am not sleepy and won't fall asleep until 4am or 5am which throws my whole next work day off.
I wish I could easily sleep 5hours every day and feel rejuvenated but after 5hours of sleep in a row, I need to get caught back up and die in my bed and do it all over again.
I function well on 7-8 hours a night. I have too much to do every day during the week to sleep longer than that but around 1 day a week I may have a much longer 10-12 hour catch-up back-to-bed sleep ;D Any less than 6 and I'm dead the next day ... jumbling words etc!
Fortunately I've never had a problem falling or staying asleep. But I wish the damn cat and my kids would stop waking me up randomly as although it's only for 2 mins they are waking me up that does make me tired during the day.
I'm a cam girl and a mom, so I don't get much sleep at all. Lately, I've been working nights (without audio) which makes it hard to make money, and I've been getting less than 5 hours a night of sleep. I need to figure out some kind of way to make more money and work during the day so that I can get some sleep, becuase I'm starting to get burnt out...
