And how often did you cam per day?
my best site is clips4sale which is passive income selling videos.
The most I have made on a site in the span of 2-3 hours is 300 bucks. But that consisted of short privates and block sessions. This was on Streamate. I am currently with them, but I am looking to sign up on different sites as well. I wish I could be the lucky every time I log on, lol.
Btw, I grew up in Southwest Michigan! :)
Southern Charms is my best site - but it is a combination of pictures, videos, and camming. Sometimes the camming there is awesome and sometimes it is not. lol
Try the search function.... There are numerous posts that can answer this question.
Most girls who are smart don't like answering questions like these from newbies. New girls are saturating the market as it is and see newbies as competition. You should probably lurk more and take a few hours to read some threads to get this answer.
I used the search function and didnt come up with anything. but thanks for the heads up.
I know when I first found stripper web under my former name. I searched and searched read thread after thread. I soaked it all up. Girls, we do not have to worry though most new girls do not last long.
Sure, the market is being over saturated. I am NOT saying you will fail or move on to other things @ all msmocha so please do not think I am saying that.
When I started camming back in 09 I learned everything on my own. It really makes me angry to see n00bs just wanting stuff spoon feeded to them. I have dealt with some nasty things while camming to bring me where I am now. Idk where I am going through this but like the other girls said...SEARCH read every thread you can and soak it up. If there is something that is not answered in anything you see then ask.
Good you should do that.
Stripper web is give and take. The more you give to stripperweb the more it gives back to you. Give us some secrets first before demanding our best kept secret.
OP, your original post had no thank yous, no hellos, no introduction, no nothing but "give me, give me" written all over it. Manners still go a long way even in a forum. *PSSt, It's also rude not to hit the thanks button for the few girls who answered your questions, just saying*
Most girls come in here demand these answers and then disappear which is why no one is jumping to help you.
Welcome to stipperweb, I look forward to what you have to contribute.
honestly - what sites work best are different for everyone. but if you read the forums, that should give you a good idea of the main sites and how they work.
i agree with what's been said - i cammed for several months before i ever found stripperweb. a lot of it is trial and error - even when you do have a place to ask questions or a place with as much info as sw has. even when you've been at it for awhile - there's still a lot of trial and error.
Golly, I spent 2 weeks just reading everything. Before I even did the search function. Read every thread whether or not it was what I was looking for.
Never know when a thought or new idea will pop up just from reading others expeirences on here.
There is no magic formula, what works for one model may not work for you. There is a learning curve for each gal. I learn something all the time and constantly tweeking my shows and performances on to make more money.
Cam and cam and cam, experiment, have fun. Treat it like a full time job to see what works for you.
Good Luck,
Sam
I just thought you were asking just to ask lol. Honestly, it's kind of useless for your purposes. There's a lot of different factors that go into finding (a) cam home(s) Just try a few or all until you find one that fits you best.
In response to your original question, surprisingly LiveJasmin but, I couldn't deal with how long it took to get my money.
PS- Nevermind the search function, you can find the most popular sites just by scanning the thread titles and of course reading the stickies.
ahhhhhhhhhhh so what, thats what forums are for....to read. if they arent going to READ whats the point.... WHo has time on there hand to answer repeated questions. Set aside a hour or two to read the threads, it really isnt that hard.
spoonfeeding is the WORST thing you can do to a new model..... Us veteran models had to search and read up, and so shall the newbies. Its business.... not classroom discussions.
in my opinion....
I never meant to come off as demanding i figured since i AM new and cant offer very much advice or answer very many questions i was going to be active on the site by asking what ever questions i have.
It is understandable that some models dont want to give out there secrets because its a competitive business and if that is the case then just dont tell your secrets.
And i didnt think anyone would care very much about a first post full of introductions and worthless information about myself...
I will start using the thank you button, I didnt know that it was considered courteous, I have just been thanking girls by quoting them and telling them thank you
But thank you as soon as i have something useful to contribute i will
I thought she was just asking for askings sake too , and I was also curious about the answers ( and I've been camming since 2004 ) , it's just kinder interesting to see what's working for other people . There is a difference in the question 'which site works best for you ' and 'which site should I WORK ON ' .... One is a mere interest and the other is UN-answerable!
My best earner is AW - followed closely by ifriends.
And by admitting that - I am certainly not giving away any trade secrets or shooting myself in the foot as some of you have implied , because as others have pointed out - what works for one , won't work for all ....
So answering the question really isn't giving anything away , and if answering it is annoying , don't answer :D
Awe you are fine honey! Honestly, I think you are doing great by being here to learn to begin with. I don't think it is that members don't want to help brand new girls. I guess the main thing that bothers other members is when someone new pops in, asks a few (kinda personal) questions, and then she never seen again once she gets her answer. After a while one begins to wonder if it was worth the effort. I agree that it does go to far when it becomes something generalized toward everyone.
As far as secrets, that's the thing. There is none. I wish there was some magical formula though lol. I brainstorm on it daily.
You don't have to really have anything useful to contribute in order to hang around the site. Comment on threads, anything. You are just as welcome to be here as any of us, so never feel like you are not.
I second CamWhore.
This is a business.
There is A LOT of spoon feeding going on in this forum. I have no idea why some girls on here get so defensive about wanting to do it. This is not a charity, ladies. This is WORK.
Camming times and which site is the best shouldn't be what we're responding too. All of that is subjective.
All you need to say is, "Here's the list of non-scam, legit cam sites. Here are the stats and payout percentages. Pick one and go for it." And, "Just try a different schedule and see what times work best for you." Tah-dah! All done. So simple. Someone who is motivated to work in this industry is going to say, "Awesome, thank you! Just what I needed!" And run off to make some dough with their happy self.
We go round-and-round saying how this is a business - it is! It's also a self startup buisness. Independent. Solo. What's it take? Effort, time, experimentation, promo, and face time.
If you wanted to go out into the world and start your own burger joint no one is going to go out and hold your hand telling you where the best location is, or what prices you should offer or what kind of food you should offer.
Not directed towards you OP - just a general statement to everyone else...
These girls who come out and ask for direct links and info without reading is like they might as well have translated too (as h0ttie posted), "Hi i want to be your competition now please spend your time and direct me to where you are making money."
Ladies, WHY would you be giving out info to someone who won't read through a forum for a few hours (weither the search function is working or not) for something they want to get paid for. ::)::)::)::)
I don't see any spoon feeding. There are newbies who ask questions that are easy to find. What I do see is competiton between the new girls and veterans. I've cammed on and off since last year. I did poorly the first time because I didn't know about SW. Now, with a little searching and asking, I've become wiser about the industry.
My advice is to look out for #1. If you want to be successful, try out every site possible. Come up with a niche and a theme for your shows. Find or what sites work for and what don't. I can't sit for hours on SM, but it works for other girls. What may work for me may not work for someone else.
Good luck!
I don't consider it spoon feeding , because what's on the spoon won't feed. Even if the question's answered , the information they take from that answer isn't going to help them until they've tested out the sites on their own .
This forum used to be so much nicer, wtf happened.
Hmm, I am on the fence with this one. By nature I share things as I learn them, as it helps make it clearer for me too. So when I first came here I answered threads i had expertise in. However as time has gone on I have felt less and less like answering those because in all honesty, I don't want the competition. I'm not a bitch by any standards, and even by admitting the above, i know some of you will think I am.
I do feel some guilt about it sometimes, like I've gone back on my own standards or something, because when I started, I was very, VERY lucky to meet a lovely (and very successful) camgirl who practically held my hand through everything. I owe the success I've had to her. So part of me wishes I could do the same for others. But I really don't have the time for that, not right now while I'm still trying to carve a brand for myself and figure out what works FOR ME! The last thing I need is another girl similar to me coming along, copying what I do, and very possibly taking potential customers away from spending on ME.
It sounds harsh, and I'm trying to balance how I really feel about helping/ not helping. For now all I can say is:
I promise never to preach about using the search function
I promise never to be sarcastic and put newbie questions down
I promise never to be a bitch
I promise to only respond in threads to which i can add something useful, if i so want to, otherwise i will pass the thread by
I promise to always help to the best of my ability IF SOMEONE CONTACTS ME PRIVATELY. I'm not entirely comfortable doing it on an open forum.
Hope that clears up my position, and I suspect the position of many other girls on here xx
