Setting Goals
Hi Ladies.
I have been reading alot about people setting goals on here for how much they want to earn per day ... in $ - is it mainly americans here ?
How on earth do you start to set a goal when - like me you are new - and have no idea what sort of potential earnings there are ?
:-*

Re: Setting Goals
There are all kinds of people here.
If you look at some of the top models on the site/sites you work with, and do the math, you can easily see the potential :)
anything over $100./day is ok.
Anything over $300 is good.
Anything over $500 is great.
In my book.:)

Re: Setting Goals
To me:
Less than $200/day is eh
$200-$300/day- Satisfactory.
$300-$400- Pretty damn good.
$400+/day - Fan-freakin'-tastic
I've been camming all year, although only consistently since August.
And those numbers are between MFC and SM.

Re: Setting Goals
I been a very lazy cam model in the last couple months... That's my lazy goals:
$100-ehhh (chill day, no make up, no sexy outfit, no efort)
$150- have to put some ass shaking in to the mix
$200- good day, happy me! Anything over it usually takes way too much out of me.
I been camming for almost 2 years, tryed a lot of sites, multiple site... Now I only focus on SM- I make most there and it makes my life less complicated when I don't have to keep up with different regulars from different sites.
But its different for every girl, so you just have to try all different combinations to see what works best for you.

Re: Setting Goals
Your goal to start should be to gain as many new followers/ fans as possible. That way you will have a steady flow of traffic. Then maximise on your possible earnings from said traffic by experimenting with different camming formats to see what earns you the most. Then build on it from there.
I'm in the UK too. I do set goals, and when i actually can be arsed to get on cam, i smash those goals easily. But making a lot of money one day is next to useless if it's the only day on cam for a month!
As you are getting started, aim your goals more towards gaining a fanbase, finding what site(s) and what format works best for you, tweaking your lighting/ cam set up, and learning to get into a routine. Get those initial steps right and you should earn money on a consistent basis x

Re: Setting Goals
I think another factor that is really going to come into it is how much time in a day you can put in.
Making $300 a day would be amazing for me...because I can only really get on for three hours after my day job and before I start doing my work to prep for the next day. Two hours is average for me. So $100 in two hours is pretty good!! But if I was on for 6-8 hours a day, then $100 would be pretty miserable.
I think its pretty average to make around $30-50 an hour (based on other threads), so figure out how many hours you can work, and then set your goal for $30 an hour. When you do that, go for $40, then $50, etc etc.

Re: Setting Goals
for a long time $100/day a few days a week has been my goal, mostly cause i was distracted with other work that i do, moving, etc. and i wasn't putting in the effort that i needed/wanted to.
now i'm focusing on putting in longer hours consistently and want to make $200/day 4-5 days/week. ideally more than that but $200/day is my main goal :) on good days i average $30-$40/hr and i'm trying to bring up my hourly average through working regularly and splitcamming, but i find focusing on a number of hours or an overall number goal to work better than an hourly average, just because i've been having so many slow hours lately, lol. if i focus too much on the hourly average sometimes it can be pretty discouraging (for me). but on days when i hit $40/hr it's fucking awesome :D
