What should i think of this suspicious customer
so yesterday this guy comes in my chat and spends 100$ and half the time i didnt talk to him because i was having tech. difficulties, i even asked him to come back when i got it resolved but he stayed in anyway.
Well today he comes back again and spends about 340$ on me which is more than i ever get from 1 customer per day well i spent my whole day with him in pvt today and he's gotten me really suspicious.... but im trying to convince myself the money is legit and not fraud because he did do cam2cam and we did talk live.... but i know thats no gaurantee that this isnt fraud....
I've already prepared myself for the worst basically i'll just have worked today for free which sucks but i can live with it. i just know he is going to come back in tomorrow and do the same shit because he is supposedly "in love with me."
Im just suspicious because he's spent about 450$ on me in 2 days hes 22 and it seems like his personalities change alot idk i cant over analyze cause i know this happens all the time but what should i do should i block him tomorrow and cut my loses or keep talking to him and waste potentially another day?
i work on ifriends so they say if the little asteric is there than that means the funds are there but it could just be that the cardholder just hasnt realized his card is stolen or something like that and hasnt reported it yet.....
im rambling and worrying waaay to much but this guy just wore me out today after basically just talking in pvt chat for 3 hours i am more worn out then if i had a regular day dancing and playing with myself all day long lol it's weird i think its just a mind fuck not knowing if your getting paid or not .....
it's happened to me before and it suuucks! Luckily i think ifriends is a good site and when they do catch him they'll get rid of him!
Thanks for listening :)
any feedback would be great
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
Are you on 50% or the 35% GPO plan?
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
I am familiar with a few sites who do have chargebacks and there are a few warning signs. I cannot guarauntee this will end all cbs but I have not had a problem in a few YEARS due to these methods:
Limits: If the custy is a NEW customer but has a never ending amount of credit: red flag! usually sites will place limits on customers such as $100 then they must increase it thru time.
Screennames: If the custy recreates new screennames every single time he does a show: red flag!
Private chats: If the custy barely types a word in private chat, or nothing at all: red flag
Personal Judgement: I personally limit the time they can spend with me if they bypass the sites limits lol. If I feel something fishy is going on but my earnings appear as usual, I will cut the guys off personally until I HAVE CASH IN HAND.
Hackers: Hackers can make it appear as if you are doing a show, even trick the system so well it looks like you are getting paid and all is well. They use all of the above methods and thensome
IFRIENDS is notorious for having their system hacked. I would personally wait to do anymore shows with this guy until you have your paycheck.
If you are using ccbill or own your own indy site to prevent chargebacks I have a few tips:
Check the custys location
Check the custys ip address
insert the custys ip address into an ip address locator (google them)
make sure the custys location matches the location of the ip address
If the custys address says somewhere like Portland oregon, but the ip is showing up somewhere in india, you may want to void the sale or make sure you get the cash in hand before doing the show. Unfortunately this method does not work all te time because people do travel, their ip addresses may not always match the physical address.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
i do 50% because i hardly ever have issues....
and thanks so much for the advice i think i will block him until
i see cash in hand i dont need him messing up my whole week!
And he has my email that he got from my fanclub can u block people on your
email too?
Thanks
Is this normal and how do you ladies not get discouraged by assholes like this i guess its par for the course huh.....
Thanks :)
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
The main thing that jumps out at me is $450 in two days and he's only 22 years old. I mean yah it's possible but not many 22 year olds that I know have $450 to blow or $450 available on a credit card.
I would wait to do more shows until you see what happens. Let us know!
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
change your settings to 35% asap.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
ive been on ifriends since 2004 (i LOVE that site even though the traffic has been shitty for past few years) and over t6he years ive had tons of those guys who come in, spend zillions, claim to be in love and god knows what, and after a few days either the asterisk is gone, or they just ask for a refund, which they get... i sometimes switch between 50% and 35% payouts. but in your case id switch to 35% asap. even if he is legit (what i dont believe), you will still get your money. you will get a bit less instead of getting nothing at all.
thats what i would do.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
I would definitely wait until you get that money to make sure it is legit...do you work on any other sites? I would probably go and work another site till you get paid from that one - means that if the guy is on and IS legit, you aren't offending him and chasing him away (or getting a low rating or complaint) by refusing to let him take you private.. Fingers crossed its real though!
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
yah ive got a feeling he is fake last time i thought it the guy was luckily it was only for 100 not 450 but ill keep you ladies posted! im only on that site so i think im just going to tell to t ive got other customers that want me to chat with them.... im probably going to have to block him because he is a needy mofo and probably going to ask me why and urrgghhhh god i hope today is a good day and this is not a huge hassle....
after i get payed next week and the funds are there for some reason can they come back a few weeks from now and take it out of my earnings or am i in the clear if the funds clear this pay period?
Thanks!

you have that 10% refund reserve if you are on 50%. if he asks for a refund after your cheque is issued by ifriends, it will be taken from your refunds reserve and you will never get those extra 10% they are taking from you.
actually, those 10% of refund reserve was my main reason of choosing 35%. there's no refund reserve. and i get ALL MY MONEY even if that guy is kicked for decline or something. after all, you lose only 5% and get.. well,, actually you get more money in the end.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
When I was on IF on the 50%, when I got a chargeback it usually didn't come out of my reserve... Dunno why, but I left after not getting paid a thousandish I KNEW I'd busted my ass for
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
Ok so i ended up getting the money so the question is now ....
Do i continue talking to him this week because he still emails me to this day and im sure he would get on if i asked him ooorrrr..... am i still not in the clear and it could still come back as a refund or chargeback i mean idk..... maybe i should wait a month or so what do you guys think?
it's been a week and no CB or refund..... but i know it could still happen right? and then do they just take it out of my earnings for the weeks to come? Thanks again! XO
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
From what I understand it can happen up to six months later. I have lost thousands in chargebacks there. It seemed to me it got worse and worse. Whenever I host there I never do the 50%, too nerve wracking. I resisted it for awhile but the week they took not only my reserve fund but my entire check, I decided to give in and opt in for the 35%.
If it were me I would up your price a bit to cover the extra 15%, go on the 35% guaranteed program and get him to come back in.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
that is a good idea never thought of that!
What is up with the refund reserve i know after 6 months i get it back weekly but do they use that towards charge backs so say a guy does a charge back it doesnt come out of my check? it comes out of my refund reserve? i should probably call customer service lol i was just a little confused on this! Thank you! :)
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
yeah that 10% you get back in six months if the chargebacks don't eat it all up. If chargebacks use all your reserve then they confiscate your paycheck.
Not worth the risk to me. I depend on my money too much, so I charge my customers more to make up the difference.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
I agree with laurielegs on that strategy sounds like a WIN.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
ok thanks! aaand say that one week they took out 110$ for weekly reserve but ive got 450$ in CB'S will they take my 110$ in reserves and then take the rest out of my check or how does that work?
cause i know that you get the 10% back weekly after six months but just curious....
and thanks i call customer service like every day so this makes it a little better lol they probably are so annoyed with me lol

Not exactly, but similar.
Your reserve adds up every week - lets take your example, say you started camming there months ago and had $300 built up in there in your reserve funds, they would take your 300 from reserve (which of course you wouldn't get back in six months) and then take the remainder of the chargeback out of your pay that week.
It's sort of like the reserve works on ccbill accounts too.
Re: What should i think of this suspicious customer
o ok i see!!! Thanks so much for that lol
i appreciate it..... i guess i need to just sit down and weigh my options!
Thanks bunches!
