I bought the logitech 9000. I forget if it was pro or not. I HATE that thing! I now have a cheaper model (I forget which one though) and it's much better - my skin looks better, the colors are better, and it focuses sooo much better. I don't get it. Same brand, cheaper model, better quality? It doesn't have as high of a resolution but you really don't need it...
Anyway, sorry I can't help you directly. Just letting you know I tried that cam and ditched it. :)
no my logi 9000 is great, i think it might be the lightbulbs, i have the swirly ones. i need to get some of those pink ones i hear about that make your skin look great.
Hiya...this is what I use. I have a nice even skin tone on-cam and it only gets shiny after a while because of my natural skin oils. (read:time for more powder, lol.) Hope this helps.
I'm a noob at adding pics to message boards, so I did it as an attachment. Hope that is ok.

thanks ill try that later on cam and see how it does for my lighting set up.
also i went and bought some of those natural lightbulbs and took out the twirly energy saver ones, i hope that helps too.
try to cover your white light bulbs with a pink scarf. its kind of the same effect without spending the $$.
the way your cam looks depends 100 % on the light/lights around u..
If u have natural sun light it will look one way... at night time, with lights around u, it will look different.
Just play with the setting and take a screen shot of your own settings when u get them to look great...
Make sure u leave the lamps in the same position in the future or U will need new settings:)
well the switch in bulbs was a great success. those twirly energy saver bulbs make you look terrible. thats one problem solved! im still going to get some pink bulbs to play around with as well though,
