Every employee arrested in club
I read an article that stated every employee inside the club got arrested for not having a license. BabyDolls - Nacogdoches, TX August 21, 2011.

I am surprised something like this could happen. Has anyone else heard about this happening around the country? Is this what happened in Houston as well?
Re: Every employee arrested in club
^^^ yes ! Part election year politics, part 'broke' local gov't budgets !
Re: Every employee arrested in club
Wow how dare they post these photos online?? Wtf is wrong with these people?
Re: Every employee arrested in club
why was there a photographer? how awful.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
I have been lucky that I have never been in a club when there have been busts. The one time a club I was working at had a bust was the one night I wasn't there (and ironically I was supposed to be). Like Melonie said most of these busts tend to be around election time (I know the one club where I was supposed to have been working was the Saturday before). I have worked a few clubs where only one or two dancers got arrested but these weren't as many as the whole club.
For those who have been arrested for being there, were your charges dropped? If I recall the one club where everyone got arrested they threw out most of the dancer charges.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
I cannot believe they had a photographer. It's fucking disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
Is it even legal for these pictures to be posted online in public?! I feel for these ladies. I hope at least one of them pulls out a lawsuit on the person who took and published the pictures. I am offended on the comments the some of public has posted. Who are they to say that the strippers are diseased whores who deserved what they got? I hate how people speak out of ignorance. The girls weren't out there stealing or doing anything illegal. Is this where the tax money is going? Putting more people out of work? Very smart move. Dumb asses.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
I agree. Why in the heck did they have photos posted? There is also another link that lists all their names as well and many more stories posted about this raid. Just sick!

My question is why the heck did the management not make sure everyone, including themselves, have the license? Everyone was arrested not just the dancers. I hope management is paying for everyone's attorney, but there is nothing they can do about their families and the stress the arrested are going through. I wonder if they will all sue?
It really makes me scared about working in a club right now because I do know there are lots of raids going on because of the elections. If everyone was arrested being a clean dancer will not help. Even the waitresses were arrested. I don't know why they want to screw with people trying to make a living. I am totally cool if they find someone giving a blowjob, handjob or sex etc, but if people are just dancing that is total crap!!! Also, it bugs me that they only arrest the dancers not the customers. If they started arresting the customers too I bet there would be much less requests for extras. Again, it's always the girls that are dirty and not the men. Makes me sick!
I got busted once and all dancers who were doing dances at the time got arrested. Funny thing is that it wasn't until after the bust the club went downhill and started doing lots of extras. Well, in the day anyway, I am sure it was worse at night. Turns out the cops there were not even supposed to be there that day and the charges did not list what was wrong just being lewd in public. The judge asked if we wanted to have a mistrial, but I wanted to be found innocent (which I was) I don't know if they dropped the charges on the rest of the dancers. Maybe just the ones that wanted to go to trial.

This is infuriating and almost brings tears to my eyes. Just the disrespect people can have for other hard working individuals....between the comments and the case itself, this truly sums up the way the public feels about dancers.
All dancers are diseased whores?
Well, what if I tried to say all customers are pimps, drug dealers, stalkers, rapists or dirty old men?
Sometimes I have confidence in the progress of our society, seeing as we are incredibly liberal compared to our parents' generation. But this is making me have second thoughts. Those pictures were NOT necessary....sick bastards

... and herein lies the real irony of the situation. The Baby Doll dancers who were charged for failure to obtain an adult business license face essentially the same severity of criminal charges, and the same 'black mark' on their permanent record, as if they had been busted for giving HJ's. BJ's or FS. Of course if they had in fact been giving HJ's, BJ's and FS they would have been earning a whole lot more money ... to the point where they could afford to hire their own well connected local attorney, where they could afford to file an appeal etc., and potentially beat the charge or plea bargain to a lesser charge.
It's pretty simple for some dancers to conclude that they have absolutely nothing additional to lose, but a whole lot of additional income to gain, if they now start offering HJ's, BJ's and FS.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
god those pics! i.would.die.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
That is about an hour away from where I live, it's kinda of a seedy place or so i've heard, but geez people! Get your darn license. It's the manager's and owners fault for not doing their job! Also, NO they had no right to publish those pictures. It's one thing to have them for police record, but releasing them to the public is nothing more than a calculated move to attempt to "Shame" dancers and others who work on the club.
Re: Every employee arrested in club
Yeah, why would they take a bunch of pictures and post them online?
I can understand why they would take pictures, for evidence, but releasing them for public display is an invasion of privacy.
Don't they understand there are sickos out there that would happily rape/murder/torture women if they know their real names/addresses/faces?
I hope those dancers put their money together, buy an attorney, and sue the police department for posting those photos online.
