Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
DELETED ORIGINAL POST because I didn't post the original subject to create drama or controversy, much less to be misinterpreted.
I do see the point about my post maybe giving her more traffic since we know guys lurk around here. I agree with that point. But she is usually on the home page when she is online so, the guys who already visit Streamate can see what she is showing and doing right on her room thumbnail as soon as they scan the home page. And, believe me, there is probably not one guy who sees her room thumbnail that doesn't go into her room.
I didn't post the girl's nickname with the intention of having anyone here report her or much less asked anyone here to report her. I just said that even though I thought she actually deserved it, thought about doing it, and even got screenshots, I couldn't bring myself to do it.
I have seen models bluntly breaking rules before but I didn't report them and didn't post here about them either. What this girl was doing was just TOO MUCH. I was sincerely amazed at how she totally ignored any rule even knowing her picture doing all that would be on the room thumbnail on the first page, and was not afraid of being suspended or terminated. If she were on MFC, it wouldn't be a big deal but, seeing her doing these things on Streamate free chat day after day, just made me want to talk about not only her, but the whole "rule breaking" situation and how (or if) it affects us all.
Besides the one bad choice of posting her nickname, I was just venting about the lack of balance at Streamate where some girls get reported and suspended for next to nothing and others do every kind of hardcore stuff imaginable in free chat, day after day, without suffering any consequences. It may have been a bad choice naming one of the models I saw doing all this, but that could have been pointed out without the addition of (wrong) judgment of my intentions.
And to clarify one more thing, just in case, I don't spend a lot of time in other models' rooms, especially if I am working. I never write anything in their chat either and don't have a member acct to do so. But, like many others, when I am not working, I do like to go into some rooms for a couple of minutes and see if there is anything I can learn (not copy) from someone else. On the other hand, I am curious and do go into a room if I see a room thumbnail with the camera zoomed in on a wide open pussy with a dildo in it. I did stay in that room for a while, in more than one day, to see how the guys behaved and how far that girl would go in free chat. It is like the train wreck thing, as horrible as it is, most people's curiosity still gets them to look at it.
I just wanted to apologize for making a bad choice regarding posting a model's nickname, and clarify a few things because, if I just deleted the original post, by reading the reply below, people who didn't see the original post, could get the wrong the idea.
I will go back to only reading the forum occasionally and won't post unless it is absolutely necessary because, the same way I don't feel right about reporting girls who break rules, I also don't feel right about attacking anyone for their opinions, for what I THINK they mean or who I THINK they are, whether in person or in a forum. I can disagree or try and clarify things, but I also try to measure my words and do my best not to sound hostile to the people reading what I have to say.
Maybe the first reply to my original post was not even meant to be an attack regardless of the fact that some of it definitely made me feel attacked.
I think that drama happens in this forum much more than necessary and I don't want to contribute to it.
Anyway, I can't delete the thread, but the original post is gone. I hope that deleting it, admitting that it wasn't necessary to name the model that shocked me enough to come here and post, trying to clarify things, and avoiding posting as much as possible will be enough to avoid any drama that could possible develop because of the original post.
Be happy! Peace, money, and all the best to every single one of you.
Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
....you realize giving her SN and a full breakdown of what she does in a super-public forum is similarly counter-productive and sending her even more traffic?
if you have the evidence and it bothers you enough to track her behavior day after day - Im unclear why you havent just reported her. Is it to rally people up to report so you don't have to do it? If you want ppl to report her because you won't, just be direct and say so.
I sincerely do not get why people post the specific stage names of models who bother them out in the open. It never ever goes well and it is free publicity/traffic for a rule-breaking room... which is probably what you do not want.
Maybe in few months people will catch on and start posting themselves - like "omg look at [whoever] totally naked, gaping, DP, creaming, moaning on SM! Check it out!!"
The problem appears to be systemic on SM, not the issue of one model here or one model there. It is like saying "fuck a beehive is in my window" :plucks out one bee: "I *hate* beehives! Especially THIS one bee. See this ONE bee??? This ONE-" :hundreds of other bees buzzing in the window: "-Fills me with RAGE"
More to the point: I think girls from certain studios do not get watched carefully by admin.
Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
Yeah this is turning into the Amber C. Forum
Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
^^ Agreed. Plus posting models name in here just gives this site a bad name. Even though someone was clearly doing something that was not right in free chat...would you like it if someone outed you for something? Just sayin..
Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
RE: your edits - Disagreement isn't drama nor are you being personally attacked. you posted someone's stagename which usually doesn't go over well....it is a slippery slope. Yes rulebreakers are problem, yes it is an issue, yes it sucks and should be dealt with - but people often conflate having problems with a systemic issue with getting overly focused on one model. It is also unintentional publicity that knocks girls the placement of girls who are following the rules since everyone will check out the named model's room (which I def did).
Mods have shut down multiple threads where people's stage names are posted. Pushing forward despite this & being mad that she isnt getting reported when you were is laying the groundwork for drama. I mean 3 people taking issue with all of that is not personal, nor is it a reflection of all of camming connection. Look, we don't know you or your stage name, it is all good.
But why you won't report her but still get publicly riled up anyway is bizarre - just email SM
Most of the "drama" in this forum are: people post things, don't feel terribly assertive about it & hope for approval, people voice contrary opinions, the OP gets fixated on the ONE person who may speak undiplomatically and then shit rapidly spirals out of control. Then people start talking about how negative the site is over and over again - which fuels the dramatic posts & brings down overall morale. It really isn't that bad.
I really dont think this site is full of drama, I appear to be the only one who thinks this, and Ive been disagreed with and gotten into e-fights before.... but people do read/post on other msg boards right? CC is pretty normal. Ive been on boards where people post pics, numbers, whois info, names of children, leak PMs, post google map pics of houses, FB links - people are bonkers. That is personal. Camming Connection? (Thankfully) not personal. It used to be every so often in 2010 and those periods were a hot mess... not so much anymore.
We don't know each other (mostly) - nothing is terribly personal, disagreements happen. Since people dont want their own rooms posted and have threads turn into a free-for-all they tend to blast "look at dis bitch" posts. It is that simple. Plus the strain of competition is making people act (apprehensively) ooglay. Look if people posted things they were confident in or posted w/o looking for approval - nearly 1/2 of the drama in this forum just wouldn't happen.
Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
*walks in* WTF happened in here?
Deleted content, gossipy shiz about another (cool) camgirl forum... Ehh. *walks out*
Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
I didn't see the thread when it was in it's entirety . I agree, exposing rule breakers is ugly . For me personally it depends on if you're exposing them because they broke A rule, or because they broke YOUR rule . If I see someone hurting animals/kid/babies on cam , then the world and her boss is going to know about it . Grassing is bad , but turning a blind eye on what you really believe in is worse.

So I guess the only thing that matters, is if it matters .... to you :-)

Re: Talk about breaking the rules at Streamate
Aw I missed the drama! *pouts* See why I'm constantly here? I leave for a few hours and I'm left out on the fun!
I can't wait until the day comes where I see a thread about me. You're nobody until you're hated }:D
