Congrats, how bad was the pain?
The shots were painful and made my palms sweat. But the pain was bearable. Butt shots are certainly on the bottom on my list for pain. (I've felt more painful things before).
All in all, I could describe the pain as a "Rod of fire inserted into your ass each time" and after the process, I felt like I had some murderous anal sex. lol.
But like I said, it was bearable.
I did almost go into shock after my shots though because I was on an empty stomach and I was VERY dehydrated that day. :( So if you are considering getting this done, then please eat/drink beforehand!
Do you have before and after pictures? That's if you're ok to share. I love looking at PS pics.
Im waiting on the after pictures! Right now I have bandages on the spots where she injected the gel and I can't remove them after those spots have healed.
Eeeks! Ive heard nothing good about those shots. Every pastic surgery death i hear about has to do with them. Do they last long? I was thinking about getting a brazillan butt lift using my own fat. Did you choose this way because it is better? Does it make your butt shapelier or just big?
My ass is flat. flattttt like i wanna take a pic of it its so flat lol so i might research and get some done when i reach my weightloss goal. waiting for pics!
There is always a risk with every cosmetic or plastic surgery procedure. I've heard of women dying from liposuction, breast implants, and fat grafting.
Do they last long? The woman who did my butt has had her butt shots for 8 years and work out on a daily basis. She only got a touch up 2 times.
I chose this way because it was cheaper and still effective. Butt shots are no different that tattoos,...under the skin and permanent.
My butt is more shaplier than big. I told her that I didn't want a huge "fake" ass.
Did you do the lay on your stomach thing for a few hours? Or did you just move around? I know a few that have gotten it done, so i like to compare stories. :)
I'm no hater, but I've heard some seriously scary things about this too & wouldn't personally get the procedure done (like every procedure- there are always horror stories). Is it legal in the US now? Well, it's great that you are happy with your new buns :)
yes the horror stories! I pray to God that yours remain fantastic and problem free. I would just be way too scared to try this!
I am on a mission though to get what me & my best friend refer to as "top ass" lol. We both have a good size butt however most of the weight is on the bottom. I'm in need of some top ass! I guess I'll just have to stick to exercise :/
The horror stories are what get people talking. Most of America can't fathom why women would want a big ass, so they find it intriguing. I don't mean to downplay the risk, cause it is risky, but many people get this done and they don't drop dead. As I mentioned before, transgender individuals have been doing this for ages. I don't know why it is legal in other countries and not the USA, maybe they don't consider it profitable?
i am so incredibly pro-surgery. but here's the thing: risks with cosmetic procedures decrease DRAMATICALLY if you are honest with your surgeon about your health, follow all pre and post operative instructions, are in the hands of a skilled and licensed medical professional, have complete knowledge about what substances is being used (material of implant, brand of filler, etc).
i find it way problematic anytime ANYONE gets a back alley procedure and then three days later is raving about it. the likelihood of you dying from breast implants in the united states is virtually nonexistent. liposuction and fat grafting, slighting higher because you are under anesthesia for a longer period of time.
a general rule of thumb is that you shouldn't be recommending procedures or surgeons (not applicable in this case since this is super illegal) until you have actually seen the end result. there are safe ways to augment your ass. there are safe ways to do most any cosmetic enhancement. why the glorification of back alley surgery? my people.
they say it isn't legal because the ingredients in the gel are harmful to the body. I'm no chemist so I can't say but I can imagine that an uncontrolled substance (I say uncontrolled as in something not encapsulated in a shell like implants) could be difficult to test for complications. They could be full of shit or they could be on to something but the unknown aspects of this procedure are a little intimidating imo.
That & like I said about the uncontrolled substance in my body.
absurd. what research could you have done without having come across every single surgeon in the united states saying that this is essentially russian roulette?
who prescribed your post-op antibiotics? who do you call if you have a complication? do you have actual medical professionals, not just women on topix.com, who can give you answers to side effects that might arise?
silicone injections were once used for a lot of things. breast augmentation didn't require implants until women kept dying from silicone injections into their breast tissue.
silicone stopped being injected into lips because it caused so many complications that it left women disfigured.
this is why implants exist now, whether they are butt, breast, lip, nose...
the biggest issue in the united states is that the people who are doing this do not have medical licenses. it would be cost prohibitive to buy restylane/perlane/juvederm in the quantity it would take to augment the body. so no matter what anyone says about what they bought online, you have no way of knowing what that is because it's not being distributed by allergan or medicis.
so the issues are multi-fold. you don't know what is being injected into you. there is no monitoring of your health before or after. there is no good solution if you do have complications.
there are lots of doctors in the us who do butt augmentation. this, however, is taking a huge gamble, and again, since the risks seem to be ignored disproportionately by non-white women, i feel it is reckless to not constantly remind that looking good does not need to be dangerous.
regarding this being a practice amongst transwomen, that's such a marginalized demographic (partially because the one's who pass disappear into mainstream society) that it would be hard to track whether or not they had complications.
There was a chick at a club I worked at who had those. Her butt looked terrible. There was like a chunk, its hard to describe, but it was like if there was a bag full of cottage cheese put in her butt and a big piece of it broke away and sunk to the bottom of her butt and kinda just hung out there. Like a super saggy diaper with one big turd in it. It was so sad because every time she got on stage guys would stare and talk about how disgusting it looked.
I really hope that you get the results you want. More than anything I hope you stay healthy! Good luck!
I can't dispute anything that either of you wrote, it all makes sense. While I'm thankful the FDA has such stringent rules in place, I still wonder what the reason was. It's most likely that it's as Phoenix stated, but on the could've the FDA approve foods and chemicals for human consumption that will possibly kill or harm many more than PMMA shots.
I don't know about the people in small towns that are recently giving shots out left and right, but the person responsible for most of Miami and Atlanta's asses has to be making hell profit even if the hydrogel/pmma is costly.
They are harmful. I got medical grade silicone injected by an in-demand dermatologist (into my lips) when I was in my late teens, and has been and was nothing but a horror show from like 2 years after I got them until now. That's been less than 5 years and I'm still so young. Barely mid-twenties now. I lost my voice for months straight, I developed severe autoimmune problems that will probably not be going away, and I literally lost control of my life due to being uncontrollably fatigued and sick at least half of every year.
It all came down to recently being diagnosed by a doctor as allergic to silicone. People with HLA-B27 and HLA-D53 genes CANNOT handle these nasty chemicals. I'm sure there are many other things out there like that too, but I just know about those 2 from my own experiences unfortunately. The silicone has already been loose in my body for years, so the damage to internal organs is already done. I am still going to remove it, but that will not be the end to my problems. Its sad that I have all these problems and I'm not even 25 yet. I was SO healthy before.
Doctors still, to this day, say that silicone and all these other man-made materials are safe and non-reactive in the body. Maybe for SOME this is not true, but for me and many others it is very much a scientifically-proven reality. Just google silicone poisioning or silicone injections + death and hundreds of others who have chosen to share their story online will come up too. After all, silicone and a lot of these other ingredients kill animals and insects. Research studies have proven that silicone injected in rats causes a positive ANA test (essentially lupus and autoimmune problems) in rats, and is pretty much the only ingredient that kills cockroaches... and within MINUTES. They suffocate. And that's why a lot of people who get butt injections end up with respiratory, heart, or lung failure without warning. Just google butt injections + death.
What you all don't realize is that you cannot find out HOW these man-made chemicals will react to your body until its too late. Especially these chemicals that have no hard shell! I didn't even have negative symptoms until 2 years later. Some women don't until 5 or 10 years later. Especially if they are in a shell (breast implants). You will have to live with the consequences if there are any bad ones. Much of the time the damage is not reversible. Its ultimately like playing russian routlette. You better HOPE you are non-reactive. When I went in to get those injections from my doctor years ago, I believe that they were non-reactive. I was lied to. We are all being lied to. If I didn't know all this now, I would have injections all over and huge breast implants because I like the fake look. I can't have that now. But then again that's okay because I'd rather be alive.
I'm not trying to be rude or scare you. I'm just telling the based on my own experiences with pretty much the exact same thing. I wish someone would have shown me this information before I had those injections. I would have saved extreme amounts of money and would have had my health saved.

I really feel like, doctor or not, it should not be injected into anyone. See my post above this one.
FYI everyone, silicone implants were taken off the market originally because they were thought to induce autoimmune issues. They were "proven"::) not to, but the study was SEVERELY flawed (see all posts in the threads I included above) & probably paid off because cosmetic surgery is such a $$$$$ business. Look at the 3 threads I included above, and watch all the youtube videos attached in them.
Injections are dangerous no matter who injects them! I mean, if you REALLY need to enhance something, opt for saline implants (though those risks are still HUGE... see below), change them every 7 years, get them remove if you have ANY unknown illness. Or just get stem cell injections. A few doctors around the US do them. Its costly, but your health is worth it!
Please watch these... BOTH of them. But also remember that injections have NO shell guys:
Didn't she say she got hydrogel injections? I don't think that's the same as the silicone injections....
First of all I was replying to camille who was talking about silicone if you read the thread.
Second, a lot of the time hydrogel is just a blend of silicone and other man-made chemicals. Its a cocktail and commonly referred to as "hydrogel" instead of "silicone hydrogel"... Just as how plastic surgeons refer to silicone implants as "gel" implants because they don't want the negative stigma attached to it to transfer to the client.
And third, it doesn't matter what the chemical is. The fact that both are man-made and that's the issue. A lot of people's bodies cannot tolerate any form of man-made substance inside the body, and they only find out AFTER the damage is done.
Don't scare her away!!!! I just wanna know if it feels hard, squishy? does it jiggle or stand still like nicki minaj when she dances? how does it feel when you when you squeeze it????
^Lol, I'm so glad I'm not the only one wondering these things... Does it feel strange to sit down? I am so intrigued...
In the dressing room picture post several girls appear to have had booty injections. I mean, I'm no professional or anything but some of those asses looked, erm, enhanced... and well, those girls seemed to be alive...so maybe much like breast implants they are starting to become safer..
I had biogel shots and they are squishy like real butt. lol it hurts to sit for a week or so and then it's fine.
