Logitech 9000 how to stop whirring noise in videos?
I'm trying to record clips with my logitech but there is a constant loud whirring noise which overpowers my voice when i record things. At first this wasn't happening when i used the actual logitech software, only with splitcam and windows movie maker, but now it's started in tthe logi software too :( Any ideas?

Oh fuck fuck fuck, the sound is completely out as well. what the hell? i made perfectly fine clips the other day and now my cam is being an idiot. The sound is dostorted, lots of whirring, and my voice is about a second in front of the video feed :(

Does anyone know if it's possible to edit the sound/ get them in sync again without having to record the whole damn thing again?

I've tried different software to do it and its close to impossible it seems.
FYI the cause of that is usually overloading your processor and/or trying to record in HD. Sometimes it helps to shut completely down and do a fresh boot from scratch, make sure nothing but the recording software is on so it can use all the system resources with nothing interfering.
Also for the sound, be sure your mic isn't up too loud, never more than about 50% or you will pick up too much noise from the computer fans.
