As a Streamate Limited performer, you'll get paid for every time a customer enters your private show, billed per minute at the price you set. You also earn when members give GOLD. The more you interact with your customers and the longer you get them to stay, the more money you make!"
How about this question...
How does that jibe with all the free shows I'm giving every day in private? I'm just curious....
I mean, kudos for actually writing a statement that has correct punctuation and mostly-correct grammar. But it's totally false.
On any given day, I'm only paid for 25% to 75% of the shows I give, depending on how many customers actually feel like paying for their private shows that day. If they don't feel like paying... well, gosh darnit, then they don't have to pay. They can just get as many "peeks" as they want. Streamate endorses it, does not close customer accounts except for the most serious violations of this little perk, and customers just eat it up.
I've already been in contact with a lawyer about customers who are posting videos of me without my permission. What would a lawyer say about this? Is it completely irrelevant because it's just in their FAQ section and not in the contract? I'm wondering.
I know my tone sounds very snarky right now. Guess I'm feeling that way b/c I'm trying to quit smoking. But, even after a year of knowing that custies get free shows all the time and I don't get paid for MOST of my shows, it still bothers me. Most people would probably say shit or get off the pot. Ok. I'm doing something about it on my own. I'm banning guys before they have a chance to completely take advantage of me. But I'm just wondering why SM contradicts itself so much. Are they intentionally trying to delay models figuring out how many free shows the guys are going to scam? Or is this a simple error?
Just a little rant/ curious model post.
