What are your health & supplement staples?
Mine:
- Probiotic Pearls (had to give up the yogurt due to dairy/sugar)
- Padma Basic for immune function (large blend of herbs)
- Argan Oil (great for hair, skin, & anti-inflammatory for inside the body)
- Tea Tree Oil (breakouts, stubborn skin
- Coconut Oil (cooking & camming. also anti-inflammatory)
- Shea Butter (great for all over body & delicate areas like under the eyes)
- Immune Function Supplements (has a blend of shittake mushroom, echinachea, & others)
- Green Tea Supplements (high dose. alternative to adderall for concentration)
- Raw Cookbooks (natural food & desserts... makes staying away from gluten, casein, & added sugar really easy)
- I also make sure to cook with: tumeric, sea salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne pepper, & olive oil

For pill supplements I take-
DMAE - Great for mental concentration and focusing, as well as keeps your skin clear.
Hyaluronic Acid - Helps to loosen up stiffness in joints (great for dancers), as well as brings moisture to your skin. Makes my skin appear so much more glowy and youthful when I'm on it.
Rhodiola- Herbal supplement to help you adapt to stress better and gives you energy to take on the day.

I second the coconut oil, tumeric, and hyaluronic acid!
I also try to have a green smoothie/Ann Wigmore style energy soup every morning for breakfast to keep me hydrated and not weighed down in the morning.
Drink lemon water throughout the day, sometimes with a little bit of baking soda added (hydration, decongests liver, alkalizes). Also have kombucha as a treat for probiotics.
Supplements: milk thistle, magnesium, blue green algae. Megadoses of vitamin C if I'm low on energy or feel like I'm about to be sick.
I eat a shitton of tropical fruit like durian and coconuts.
Sardines and oysters make my skin look plumper, more youthful.

I'm so glad you started this thread! I was thinking of doing the same one because I'm a supplement NUT and always want to know what is the most effective, esp. for hair, skin, and nails.
Mine:
Hyalauronic Acid - For joints and amazing skin.
Co-Q 10 - Good for heart, gums, skin, hair, and energy.
Diatomaceous Earth - This stuff is almost pure silica, great for hair.
Hair, skin, and nails vitamins
Tea Tree - for breakouts. I use it straight on my skin.
Fish Oil - Omega 3's are amazing for heart, skin, everything.
Vitamin C - Essential for killing off free-radicals if you work in a smokey environment.
